What a timeless design! It seems like I've been seeing this same basic truck design since 1997. Oh wait, I have! Yep, almost a quarter century selling the same truck with minor styling updates and refining the mechanicals. I guess Nissan trucks aren't as popular as they were before, with Hardbody and 720 models during their heyday in the 1980s, so hard to justify a full redesign until 2022. I hope they got their money's worth out of this model.
@@kartickanungo8486 Yeah, those don't get redesigned too often either, but not nearly a quarter century like the Nissan Frontier, haha! I have a 2009 Tundra, people have guess it to be a 2019, lol!
My uncle bought a brand new 1999 Frontier SE with the 3.3L V6. It was black with gray interior. I remember being jealous because I wanted it. lol. My dad bought his old truck, a 1988 Nissan Desert Runner.
Sort of... the 2022 Nissan Frontier (North American market) rides on a revised high-strength steel ladder frame chassis carried over from the outgoing model. It's also 13 cm longer. I guess they don't sell enough to justify a totally new, ground-up design.
If it has after market wheels I’d get the original ones with the oem specs on the tires for a better ride and best gas mileage 👍 and if a tune up is in order i would use NGK spark plugs and wires
These Nissan frontier are great pick-up trucks of the late 90s

Great truck. Superb reliability and a much better ride than those nasty cart like toyotas.
These things were all over san diego back in 98 and 99..
The new one is still riding the same frame?
