My Deebot 500 cannot be set up . I accidentally deleted it in the app. I don’t know whether to register it again to be able to set it up since after clicking the ecovacs in the available networks, it does not connect.
Ismael Salud You can try factory reset of DEEBOT. Switch ON the DEEBOT and long press the RESET (small button on the side) button until you hear a beep. This can take 5-7 seconds. Erase the App from your smart phone, then re-open the ECOVACS App/ECOVACS Home App and try again. Hope it helps...
I agree But if you had read the small print it said "there will be a additional charge to read the instructions out loud " so alway read the small print BEFORE complaining
these are on sale here in Canada, I'm thinking of getting one! Does it clean crumbs /. dust off hardwood floor well? Also, does it work at all on carpet?
I am unable to find the instruction manual for Deebot 500. How can I get one. Ecovacs website says that I can view/download, but there is no file. Is the power light supposed to stay on during charge?
No, but why you want to control it manually! It will automatically map out your floor after few times running. If there are particular spots on the floor you want the robot to clean, just leave it there and trust me, it will eventually get there and clean it for you!

I followed the directions until I come to my Wi-Fi password. When I put in my password, I get a message "is there a space in your password" Yes-- it allows me to continue-- no, and you have to go back. My Wi-Fi password does not have a space in it. Any ideas?
Hi Karen, not sure what happened but you may need to make sure your internet connection with the vacuum robot since some router may require additional security layer for your robot to connect to your home network. Hope it help. Thank you.

Yes, it cleans everything, works on both hardwood floor and carpet.

If we are out of station and use mobile app from other location will the robo works and clean home?
It does as long as your robot is connected to your WiFi network. You can also schedule the cleaning base on time. Hope it helps…

Can I connect my deebot to my iPad?
Yes, you can. The app is compatible with iPad even though it is designed for iPhone smaller screen.
So I have verizon fios and my DEEBOT says it doesn't connect to 5G , it's has to connect to 2.4 GHz, how do I do that?

What can I do if my robot does not has a QR code?
You actually don’t need the QR code, just select the right model instead of scanning the QR code. Hope that help...
I did all this and I can't connect it to my my phone. It starts connecting and after 45% stops and says something was wrong.

Hi Jean, you actually don’t need the QR code if you don’t have it. Simply use the alternative way by select your model manually from your mobile app.
