The tiles are likely HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), you can purchase sheets of HDPE at a fraction of what they charge once it’s branded as synthetic ice. You won’t be able to skate on HDPE. However, if you go for UHDPE (Ultra High Density Polyethylene), you can in fact skate on it although it chews your blades and feels kinda weird - some pop up rinks especially for figure skating showcases at weird events use UHDPE synthetic ice

According to Bauer's website you can. They have recommended sharpness for your blades.

That puck didn’t move anything like ice. This was not an honest review… the puck moved about as well as any generic smooth surface board…

Those are the dryland tiles, not synthetic ice. If you are going to promote a product get the product name right so people buy the right thing.
