Good to see Igor and his new knives!
Thank you 🙏
I love the silhouette of the Mirror 1. The “thumb choil” is a small touch, but gives it such a unique flavor.
Igor! I like the mirror 1 best as it’s unique and that’s always a good conversation starter!
Igor's Mirror 1 looks fantastic. Priced fairly, I definitely am picking a pair.
Thank you👊
Glad to see the Igor bromance is still going strong. All the best wishes to him
Nice to see Igor back. Thanks DCA and Thomas for all the videos! 🎸🔪☮️
Thank you🙏
Great to have Igor again & his new creations. Straight Line is the goat. Cheers from Australia.
Thank you🙏
That mirror 2 is a home run
😅 ha... it took me a second to wrap my eyes and brain around the upside-down part of the Mirror knife.
Yes! The Mirror1 looks perfect! I'll take it in olive wood.
One of the best makers in terms of fit and finish and amazing designers…
Nice looking. I liked a few of them, but the Mirror, i love.
Looks like an easy knife to get cut on, just by looking at the blade. Lol
Happy to see a cross bar lock. Hopefully Viper will use it on more models.
I like the mirror 2 totally different and cool
Thank you 🙏
As always a great video DCA !
Viper is awesome always innovative
That mirror is gonna cut so many people
You sure will, especially if you buy both versions!!
Yeah. I prefer asymmetrical blades for both visual and tactile identification of the blade edge. I've cut myself on spear point knives before by pulling it out and pressed my thumb directly into the blade side thinking it was the spine side.
DCA and Igor are adorable 😊
I always love seeing that guy :D -DCA
@@knifecenterlikewise ❤
Yes, Igor is back!
👊
Viper has some great knives. I love my Hug.
Igor's back!
Oooh yeees 😂
Using an ambi lock and ambi thumb studs and then not having a swappable clip is such a weird choice lol
It’s like they’re following trends without understanding function.
European knife makers refuse to put reversible clips on their knives, even with fully ambi locks. Boker, Viper, MKM brands, they all hate lefties.
@@joshuaDstarksvery well said.
The first one reminds me of my Kaiser Escort Brulp with clutch lock I changed out the studs for red studs
That oniro look awesome I wish one
Looking like some nice knives. That ranger looked nice. I wish they stuck with a pm steel, or go hc.
I love a drop point just like DCA, but I have to say I like the more dagger style blade shape of the mirror
That's sooo sexy 😂
That first Viper looks cool, but I hope on the production knife they get rid of the giant SAFE on the blade
Yes indeed the brown burlap micarta is the best!
I see a Mirror 2 in my future
I saw this "new locking system" many years ago on Carson Tech Exorcist.
I’m digging Igor’s knife. Little big for a pocket fixie for me. But I might pick one up. Gotta be picky budget is tight this year.
Thank you 🙏
I NEED THE RANGER!
Igor reminded me of Peter Lorre in this one 🙂
Do I have to take it as a compliment?😂😂
Mirror 1 looks like a nice pikal
Thank you 👊
I guess the wheel wasn't quite as round as we thought it was😂
man those knives from Igor are HOT !
Thank you 🔥
@@StraightLine-kd1su when and where will we be able to buy one ? (in Europe :P) amazing job mate !
@@dzxmr Viper said they will be available around November, you will surely find them in their website and from major knife shops 👍
Thank you sir ! 🙏
Iggoooooorrrrrrrrrr!!
👊
👍
🔥👍
the real question is the prices
When can we expect them on your site and prices😊 as always great reporting and reviews
IGOR !!!! YAY .. I got MKM as my defense carry TPF BLACKED OUT RED CARBON MATTER
Thanks🙏
Hey DCA, I have a request from your KnifeCenter #84 post. In the video you showed the
CJRB Silax, I LOVE the knife but hate that it's made in china. Do you or "anyone" know of a similar blade that is "Not Made In China" Thanks !!
I really wish that they would focus on the quality of the heat treat. Especially on these Italian made Magnacut blades. The internet is rife with reports of the Italian manufacturers running their steels too soft. Magnacut at 89-90 HRC is a completely different animal than Magnacut at 92-93 HRC.
Are these typos or do your really think those numbers are realistic? And no, there are a few UA-cam knife influencers show started this whole thing and repeat each other.
Wait, I'm confused... are there two Viper knife companies? I just bought an OTF Viper knife from VIPER knives that was made in China.
Can someone out there please answer this if you know? Thanks
This is Viper from Italy being shown in the video.
Yours is, uh, Viper from, eh, China.
And you probably mean Viper-Tec anyway…
You could easily look at their logo here and yours and readily tell the difference.
Thank you for sharing that information with me... just a little confusing as far as people using the Viper term in their knife builds and or companies.. thanks again for taking the time to let me know
@@j.angelis6934 not a problem at all!
The big belly twins...
😂😂
The Viper Vale was a great price, but the action on mine has taken a lot of work to get decent. The branding on everything is just gross on what are nice designs otherwise…
Even more opportunities to cut your fingers with a liner lock lock. Gesh.
Cmon Viper, aint nobody got time for an N690 fixed blade
That's not a bad steel
I beg to differ! Some of my best knives are in N690 and I MUCH rather have it than not
@@JosephOlson-ui2pg wrong
Ya another crossbar lock that you can’t flip the clip on…cmon even benchmade makes most of their stuff ambi. Cold steel uses clips that follow the contour of the handle and they just include an extra clip 🤷🏻♂️ if you don’t want to add the cost in for the people who don’t care about it offer it as a purchasable option but put a filler in there or something so I can have it on the left. Even if your not a lefty lots of people carry 2 knives and being able to carry an otherwise ambi knife the correct way in the left pocket is still a plus.
David....that first folder is CLEARLY marked m390...
It’s the prototype; it seems the production model will be in Magnacut.
@@stiglagerfeld9151 accept....the others were marked magnacut....
Thrust bearing? Aren't they all thrust bearings?
Viper needs to calm down with the branding and remove the knife name altogether. Italian makers in general need to thin up their geometry a bit too. There are several knives I've turned away from buying for these reasons.
Yeah, the billboards is too much. Also, they need to make it ambidextrous.
Yeah, rather gaudy. Like 'designer brand' clothing with big company logos plastered over them.
It’s the Italian supercar ethos.
Expensive…loud…and impractical.
And probably all made for the American market!
If you're going to stereotype it's my turn too.
Agreed. I'm more likely to buy a knife with less jazz on the blade.
Ranger is the best knife design on the table with worst steel... 😔
Damn dude European knife makers just do NOT consider lefties. 🤣🤣 those knives are ugly AF anyway but Jesus figure out a reversible clip.
Stop saying slightly larger than average hands. It’s creepy for some reason.
David should always remind the viewers that these cross-bar thieves are not selling their own creation, since the idea gestated at Benchmade.
The patent has expired, they are not stealing.
By that logic he should always remind everyone that the pocket clip introduced by Spyderco, frame locks were introduced by Chris Reeve, David Boyd introduced the Boyd Dent.
Intellectual property is a face. You can't "steal" ideas.
@@tsklitzkaHe pretty much always attributes the Boyd dent.

Commenting at the very beginning. Let me guess, new viper, crossbar lock knife three hundred seventy five dollars
i like that first knife but i refuse to buy any italian made knives until they start to actually heat treat their steels right
Handy?! Now how do you know my girlfriend name?!
