  • Nice solo by Jim Hall over a blues accompanied by Red Mitchell. This solo is full of great phrases for any blues. I have been listening to this fantastic CD that they have together live for several days and I think I will transcribe some just more. I reupload this transcription because it had some mistakes. I am always working to give you the best.

      I think it could be. Fm7 goes better over the Ab. Red Mitchell certainly seems to be playing an Fm scale in the bass. The only lead sheet I can find has F7#9 which would fit. But not everything printed is gospel! Interesting question.

      @@AndrewSpeedy Yes, it's a F7#9 , the Ab 7 is the tritonus-substitution of D7 (alt) - that doesn't mean it's Fminor
