+Manojj Dhanarajan How, its slower than the pro and is proven by this video with all specs that were talked about. And having retina will reduce the battery life which was maybe the only good thing about the air with also how thin it is.
Mac Air is lighter and has a more efficient battery, but Mac Pro is faster, has better graphics, more ports, and force touch. If I had to choose, which I do since school is right around the corner, it would be the Mac Pro. The battery of the Mac Air is only better by a couple hours, and the weight doesn't matter much since it will be sitting on a desk the whole day. Mac Pro, for me personally, definitely takes the gold in this face off.
Moises Vizcaino It may seem that the Air is only marginally lighter than the Pro but if you’re carrying a bunch of things like me, each ounce counts. Just wanted to put this here if people are still indecisive.
I just got the MacBook Pro and love it. This is going to be my laptop throughout college and I think it's definitely worth it to get the more powerful device. Yes, it's about $300 more expensive. However, if you are willing to spend $1000 on a laptop, you might as well save the extra $300 to go ahead and get the Pro. Amazing display, more compact design, new trackpad(which is amazing by the way), and the extra HDMI port were enough to make me pitch in an extra few hundred bucks. Battery life may not be as good as the Air, but it is still pretty astounding. I would totally recommend the MacBook Pro with retina display.
absolutely phenomenal review. I find that a lot of reviewers do not review software, and only focus on specs and numbers and hardware. This review style is IDEAL. awesome job! I also loved how you went into detail on the display as this is a major point left out from most reviewers.
i decided to go with the macbook air but sometimes i wonder if i should of gotten a windows laptop :( the windows laptops at the same price range have more ram and better graphic cards. but i really wanted to learn how to use xcode to make apps hope i made the right choice...
This channel is definitely my favourite when it comes to indepth Mac reviews. I tweeted you about a month ago (we speculated on the Apple Spring Forward event) asking what would suit my needs more - the Air or Pro Retina... I still can't decide! I am a multi-tasker but only with numerous web tabs. I don't edit photos/film or create music, + really the only game I'd be curious to try out is the Sims 3 (casual gamer or what?). I would be using my Macbook for web browsing (lots of youtube), watching TV/films, emails, Skyping, writing a dissertation(!) + storing my music/photos. Speaking of storage, I'm going to get an external hard-drive since I realise Macbooks fall down slightly when it comes to storage space. I would enjoy the portability, but tbh, I stood in the Apple Store with a Pro in one hand + an Air in the other + didn't feel much of a difference in weight. So what do you think? Air or Pro Retina? If Air, would it be worth upgrading the processor to the 2.2GHz or would the 1.6 (turbo-ing to 2.7) do me just fine? Argh. First world problems! Any help would be greatly appreciated MW Technology Thanks!
MissTimewaster I think macbook pro would certainly be the safer option, but the air would get the job done too. It is all about choosing power or portability.
MissTimewaster The Air is more than capable of meeting your needs. For the average user the Pro is over kill. Unless you want a nicer screen, then the Air is very capable machine that will surely like.
Thank you, that was a very clear and neutral comparison. I just noticed I don't need a MacBook Pro for my university. I need a long battery life, something with low weight and fast boots.
got my macbook pro retina 13in few weeks ago and love it. Will never go back to windows. Its a quality laptop and retina display its incredible. new touchpad its so good when you start using it then you know what I'm talking about. I got it mine after Christmas for good price on sale. highly recommend !
My wife and I have 2010 versions of MBA and MBP. Her MBP is starting to show some signs of age so we are looking at replacing it and the A vs. P discussion doesn't have a clear cut answer. Your video review really helped me better understand the pros and cons (no pun intended) of each platform, so thank you for your work!
thanks alot. when I decided I wanted a macbook I was inclined to the air, I don't know why, probably the battery life really got me. thanks for the video because now I think I should stick to the pro because I won't travel with it much and I'm going to be doing a lot of Netflix, Photoshop and digital art on it.
For me, no contest I'd go for the pro, just because without being too heavy and while maintaining most of the battery life enjoyed by the Air, it throws in a ton more power, not to mention that gorgeous screen. On both of them, though, I love that 9GB file transfer and also their ability to drive a 4k 60hz monitor, though wish they were stronger on graphics (but happy that's improved by a big bump since the last generation and expect it to do so next time around, too).
EdwardTennant Gaming I agree with you that it is expensive but you pay the extra money for : built quality, design, no virus, good customer service, softwares, the operating system and the fact that you can install windows and have both operating systems if you want.
Massias Mazri The build quality is good but the cooling is shit however :( constant thermal throttling, but they still ge viruses/malware, its just less common
EdwardTennant Gaming The higher up you go in the mac world, the more the price makes sense. They now have a 5k display all in one machine for $2000. Usually a 5k monitor only costs $2000+...
Great review, I have been considering a MacBook Air and I have sold my MacBook Pro recently but after watching this I now understand I will need another MacBook Pro... Thanks!
Watched dozens of reviews and think that your ones are really the best . Most reviews give you techno babble without actually telling you what it means in practice especially without SHOWING you what it means in practice so thank you so much. I was really set on getting a MacBook Pro 2015 Edition but have been put off by the 'staingate' scandal. Any views on that? Anyway thanks to your video I think that the MacBook Air maybe my answer. Thanks
Good comparison, but when you're trying to show difference in sounds like the different trackpad clicks, try not talking over it so we can really hear what you're trying to demonstrate.
Mac book Air works great for me. College student, fits great on the backpack. Very light, do highly recommend speck cover to protect from scratching the laptop
I cant decide what to get. The retina screen of pro is beautiful, but the air is sexier and thinner. On the other hand the pro costs 300$ more for the 13" models. The thing I do know is that whichever macbook you get they dont lose much value over the years. And theyre an easy sell, no one wants an HP, Asus or Lenovo PC laptop.
Personnaly, I thought before the air and pro a long time. And i will take the pro.i'm student but damn Retina display man. And the qualitie. Compare with the air, it's better for all. Except batterie. But on the 13" pro it's nice ! 9hrs
Hello! Thanks for the video! I just purchased Macbook air 13, and I LOVE IT! the only problem that I have and not sure if its normal or not, some people from customer support suggested to exchange even though they couldn't find an issue, so problem is: iMovie, as soon as I start playing 6 min video that I made, after only 2 min its start getting very hot on the top left side of the notebook, and cooler starts to be very loud. I would like to use this Mac Air for video editing in the future, but not sure if its this particular computer or all MacAirs getting so hot so fast with iMovie. Some said, its normal, but not after 2 minutes...maybe after hour or so. :( Did not experience heating with Netflix for example or other video editing apps, only with iMovie? Do you maybe have any suggestions? I would appreciate it! I love the size, and its great notebook, but not sure if this is normal? Thank you and Happy New Year!
I'm unsure whether to get a 13" MacBook Air (2.2GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7, 8gb Ram, 256gb storage) or a MacBook Pro Retina (2.7GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, 8gb ram, 256gb storage). I'm a college student so will be using it for word processing, web browsing, listening to music, watching movies and I also intend to download a few games (just your standard ones from the app store) which one?
+Chloe Garrity I would recommend you get the 13'' Macbook Air, those specifications are more than sufficient for the list of uses you need. Also if the hierarchy of your list is equivalent to the desire levels the Macbook air is still sufficient unless movies come first then you need the retina display
+. Well I think it is but it all depends on how careful anyone can be...forums.macrumors.com/threads/macbook-air-extremely-fragile-weaker-than-i-expected-even-in-my-wildest-dreams.1457010/ check that out and you can see most users of the Air have enjoyed it for a while. Just get her one of these..bta.zzcase.com/CarbonShell_MBA13.php and your baby is all safe and sound
i have both computers, i can say Macbook air is more pleasant to work with for everyday use web browsing. Also i like its design more. The screen is not big issue when you look the display straight.
great review, i have rMBP late 2013 now i have a plan to buy latest MBA with 8gb of ram for portability, my rMBP is thin and light, but its better to buy MBA rather than iPad pro.. this video is great!
Just a little correction. The first click is not mechanical. Its also an illusion created by the haptic feedback. To verify this, try clicking on the trackpad after the computer is turned off.
Additional bullet point for comparison between these two devices: I've tested both of these devices for gaming purposes to test its true limitations. With the pro, the heaviest game I tested was goat simulator. The fans were loud and the air that came out was pretty hot as well, but the system itself, not too much. On the air, the fans were a little less hot, but the top left of the system got hot to the touch (to the point where it almost burns my finger). In left 4 dead 2, the pro performed well without getting too hot (performed better than on goat simulator), while the macbook air performed exactly the same. Final note: If you plan on gaming on your macbook and you dont feel comfortable with the system getting too hot (because they could damage the internals), go with the pro, hands down. The extra 300 dollars are TOTALLY worth it to ensure its safety.
chuckolatte I will be buying a Mac for everyday usage like web browsing, music and homework on different sites/ programmes, I may have to also edit some things on photoshop and potentially some video as I'm doing a media course in college, do you think I should get the MacBook Pro from 2015 or Air from 2016? As these are the two that are the most realistically priced for me? Will I be able to use the air for these activities or would it be better to just go for the older pro?
I don’t know if i should go for the MacBook pro 2015, or the MacBook pro 2017. I’m going to use it most of the time for school, but also for watching yt videos and movies. But the only problem is that i live in Norway, and i don’t know where i can get a MacBook pro 2015 model.
Great Video... very informative. Have you tried comparing it with the i7, 8 GB, 512GB SSD Macbook Air? Please give us your impressions. I'm yet to see a comparison of macbook air vs. macbook pro of the same price. I'm still confused as to which one to get baring price in mind. with about 1300 you will get something: Macbook air 2017 i7, 8GB, 256GB maybe. Macbook Pro 2015 i5, 8GB, 256GB retina. Which one will be a best buy
the thing is that when he was comparing the cpu, you could tell the resolution difference clearly... that 12 hour battery on macbook air is going to suffer if the display is retina. even though macbook pro is more configurable, macbook air can also be configured to meet the performance of macbook pro. only flaw of the air would be the display... for me at least, i would go pro over air. plz comment below if you have different thoughts.
I am in the market comparing these two machines today - and the pro, for $200 more has a more powerful base processor, faster ram speed, a retina display, better graphics chip. Sort of a no brainer. Much cheaper than the 2016 Pros, yet just a few more dollars than the air.
Trust Viperr man you just cant see a diference( air fast like pro! you heve more perfomans in pro bu high resolution eat perfomans! i have 2 macbook 2015 and perfomans is same! render same, games same, video editing same!
Why wouldn't they just give the Macbook Pro a 2560 x 1440 resolution, since that is a 16:9 widescreen format which most games and movies are formated too. Instead they made the retina display a narrower 15:9 display. So now everything will be squeezed down. A 2560 x 1440 display which is a standard resolution, would still give a retina display at the Macbook Pro's screen size. This is one of the things I don't like about Apple. They can't seem to use the standards the whole industry has set forth. So now you get a screen that doesn't look as good as it could. They did the same with the iPhones too. But at least with the iPhone 6 Plus, they woke up and adopted 1920 x 1080. So everything display's with 100% accuracy.
I am confused whether to buy the air or pro. I am a college student. And I like the air because it is lighter and I can cary it around. But the storage is kinda small compared to the pro. But I am only going to use it for research, assignments, paper work, etc and THE SIMS. IDK IF THAT will make the macbook air slower?
Nice video, good info. I thought I was sold on the Air mostly due to price, size & it's still very capable but for only $300 mot you get a way better machine. The pro is probably more than I'll need as I'm just using it for normal stuff but if I ever decide to sell, the pro will do better. Still a little unsure though, 98% pro, 2% air. Any final ideas?
It's really great for comparison , but what I hope is ,maybe this year can come out MacBook Air with Retina display...MacBook Pro slightly heavy than MacBook Air...
Hi! I am planning to buy the Macbook air next month because I need it for school work, papers, research, etc. I also want to install games in there such as The Sims. My question is, will it make my macbook air slower? What will be the effects of installing the sims?
is it worth it getting a new macbook pro with retina basic model, or upgrading my 2012 macbook pro basic model to ssd storage? one i feel like i am moving on to modern laptop and the other saves money.
I already have my main machine: iMac. But we do some decent traveling and I want something to bring with me when I go away from home. Do I get the MacBook Pro or the Air? I don't think I need all the power the MacBook Pro provides but the Air's display is no where near as good as the pro but the air is better for travel at least it think
Well, it depends on what you do on a laptop when traveling. Do you do heavy editing or projects for work? Or do you just use the laptops to to browse the web and login into your social networks? You stated that you don't NEED the power of the pro, but you WANT the appearance of the display. Similarly, the same for the air. you NEED the portability of a laptop, but it doesn't supply you a nice display. Again, it all depends on what you use it for. In my friend's personal experience between picking the two, he chose the air for traveling reasons and was glad about his choice. Hoped I helped (:
Tech Surge If youre traveling, the Air is going to be better. Slightly less weight, but better battery life. When I got mine around 9 months ago, I was getting around 14-15 hours. Now, it's sitting around 10 or 11. Yeah, the display isn't great, but it's not bad either. I am going to be going to the Pro in a few months for more power, but I would say that the Air is better for traveling. I was using mine as a high school/college student and it was great for traveling around town for schools and classes. I never had to pack the charger with me, which was nice as I always had big, heavy books each quarter. It was really nice to know it could wait to get home and then some before I needed to charge it.
What would be best for a student 128gb or 256gb mbpr ssd? I will mostly be using it to watch videos, surf the web, Microsoft office and a bit of ps and video editing
Is the Air still worth buying in December 2017 or should I squeeze the wallet for the 2015 MB Pro? I wouldn't be using it for more than general web browsing and office suite work, plus I travel all the time, so weight and battery life are more important to me than power. My concern with the Air is that it might be discontinued from next year. Would that affect the product in any way in terms of Apple support or OS updates and stuff like that?
Sorin Vasile Bogdan Apple should still support the air for a few more years to come. If you don't care for the retina screen the air would suit you just fine! I myself just ordered a 2015 MacBook Pro since my 2009 just died out and was considering the Air too
Fil I will be buying a Mac for everyday usage like web browsing, music and homework on different sites/ programmes, I may have to also edit some things on photoshop and potentially some video as I'm doing a media course in college, do you think I should get the MacBook Pro from 2015 or Air from 2016? As these are the two that are the most realistically priced for me? Will I be able to use the air for these activities or would it be better to just go for the older pro?
George Hoare I think u should definitely not get the 2016 model unless u want to spend more money for dongles and enter the dongle (adapters) life. The 2016 is really inconvenient for a college student because of all the adapted u will have to carry and if you forget the one u need then u might be screwed
Hugh G. Rection Honestly get a mac you can run windows 8.1 and mac osx yosemite on it too it is also a great sturdy feeling laptop you will be grateful you bought it trust I have a sony vaio and a macbook pro and the mac is what I use always at the end of the day I don't even know why I bought a vaio.
Hugh G. Rection I'm going in for CpET and I asked my instuctor at orientation and he said a macbook was fine. Just keep in mind that neither the air or pro have a CD drive so if they have software on CD's you will need the super-drive. I'm getting the air myself because of the portability and I honestly don't see that much of an improvement between it and the PRO to justify the price difference.
+Travis Hairston if you need a lot of performance from a laptop, youde need the highest 13" MacBook with i7, or the lowest priced 15" MacBook. That's my advice.
I'm looking to upgrade my mid 2009 MBP - I'm a teacher so I mostly use my Mac to lesson plan. I sometimes watch videos - some movies, but mostly UA-cam. I have a lot of pictures I take with my iPhone, but may get an external hard drive to possibly off load them. I do not do any type of editing or gaming. Which should I get? My wallet is telling me to get the 256 MacBook Air. Where can I update the ram at time of purchase? I know you can at B&H, but I'm looking to purchase from Best Buy.
If the air had a better sceen I would definitely buy it. Even if they would have just gone for a good 1080p panel. Because of that I would probably go for the middle of the range Pro.
Macbook Pro 13" with 16gb ram, 500gb storage, 3.1 GHz I7, retina display - this machine is a beast! The only thing this bad boy is missing is a dedicated graphics card. I liked the 13" Air because of the extra few hours of battery life you can get from it. But I wanted the power and the ports of a Pro. The 11" Air I also had - perfect alternative to a tablet/laptop. But my tool of choice is the Macbook Pro. This thing is FAST and POWERFUL. You can't go wrong with any Mac, though. Apple makes some of the best computer products on the market.
Have you tried comparing it with the i7, 8 GB, 512GB SSD Macbook Air? it will be cheaper than the pro you have. But the question is: Are you utilizing all that power on the pro?
My 2012 13 inch MacBook Pro died recently. I'm a student. My friend recommended me to get another MacBook Pro again, but not sure if it was the Retina or regular Pro. Should I get Pro or Air? I use the laptop for presentation, and for playing Minecraft
I have a strong feeling that the next Mac Book Pro with retina display will be coming out sometime soon and I think it will have the new Intel 6th Gen CPUs and DDR4 RAM and more...
Mr Mod242 I took a look and well, they are slowly releasing skylakes for mobile devices in end of Q3 and Q4 of 2015, you just don't hear much of it. My mistake, they are very uncommon however and many manufacturers still cling to Haswell and Broadwell CPUs
+NeedMoreMushrooms The mobile 6th gen CPUs I remember best are the 6820HK and the 6920HQ. Some laptops and tablets are also using desktop CPUs like the 6700K.
How is the benchmark difference between the macbook air and pro so small? The pro has 2x the ram, and a 2,7 processor compared to 1,6. Is it because when the benchmark apps are running both go into turbo boost?
If only MacBook Air had retina display it would be the perfect laptop. Hope they make it happen.
Soooooo true !!
+Jeremy T you have brain

Last night I dreamed I had a MacBook pro retina. I have a serious problem with apple right now.
Been saving my money to get one by January I'll have the money
+Sky Bear same, I've been saving so I can buy a MacBook by early January :)
Im getting it tomorrow Eeeek
I´ll buy it on friday
which one is faster pro or air ?
I wish the air had those black bezels
That's an incentive Apple wants to instill into their customers to buy the more expensive pro.
what i want is a glass pannel on top of the display, as on the pro model... it just so much cleaner!
Now they do

+Chloe Garrity I would recommend you get the 13'' Macbook Air, those specifications are more than sufficient for the list of uses you need. Also if the hierarchy of your list is equivalent to the desire levels the Macbook air is still sufficient unless movies come first then you need the retina display
playstationful but is the air very delicate or can it withstand a little bit of wear and tear
because it looks very sleek to hold on
+. Well I think it is but it all depends on how careful anyone can be...forums.macrumors.com/threads/macbook-air-extremely-fragile-weaker-than-i-expected-even-in-my-wildest-dreams.1457010/
check that out and you can see most users of the Air have enjoyed it for a while. Just get her one of these..bta.zzcase.com/CarbonShell_MBA13.php and your baby is all safe and sound
MacBook Pro.
Great comparison video, keep at it Waj
I bought Mc book Pro Yesterday, love the Black screen!
That video helped me so much I am going for MacBook Air
i have both computers, i can say Macbook air is more pleasant to work with for everyday use web browsing.
I'm going for MacBook Pro Retina 13, that's just perfect laptop almost for everything!
Just a little correction. The first click is not mechanical. Its also an illusion created by the haptic feedback.
To verify this, try clicking on the trackpad after the computer is turned off.
You reviews are very specific.I like it.Thumbs up :)
Very detailed informative review, good job
Great Video... very informative.
Have you tried comparing it with the i7, 8 GB, 512GB SSD Macbook Air? Please give us your impressions.
I'm yet to see a comparison of macbook air vs. macbook pro of the same price.
I'm still confused as to which one to get baring price in mind.
with about 1300 you will get something:
Macbook air 2017 i7, 8GB, 256GB maybe.
Macbook Pro 2015 i5, 8GB, 256GB retina.
Which one will be a best buy
Dude I can't hear the fucking track pad noise because you keep talking over it.
I want to buy the MacBook Air , debating when to buy it though
Did you buy it?
+Daan nah, I'm gonna get a dell
Ah why :(
RIP
the dell xps 13" is ok but you're forgetting its a dell... dell and hp are the most unreliable computers on the market.
Good explanation of the force touch track pad. Thank you!
thanks for the great review....love from malaysia..keep it up your good review
The Air seems to be my best choice as student and what I use them for.
4 gb memory is enough to do basic tasks in mac air 2015
the thing is that when he was comparing the cpu, you could tell the resolution difference clearly... that 12 hour battery on macbook air is going to suffer if the display is retina. even though macbook pro is more configurable, macbook air can also be configured to meet the performance of macbook pro. only flaw of the air would be the display... for me at least, i would go pro over air. plz comment below if you have different thoughts.
a external monitor test would be cool - could not find one yet
Hi Waj, The videos playing on both MacBooks for display testing is super awesome! Could you please share those videos links?
Great review, hope you can do a Macbook pro 13 vs 15-inch comparaison
I've just bought the MacBook pro retina 13 inch display but I bought it with 16 gb of ram and the i7 and it is ridiculously fast
Defiantly getting the pro after this thanks!
I am in the market comparing these two machines today - and the pro, for $200 more has a more powerful base processor, faster ram speed, a retina display, better graphics chip. Sort of a no brainer. Much cheaper than the 2016 Pros, yet just a few more dollars than the air.
Your videos are cool bro ..
Thank you so much for your good hard works :) (y)
MacBook Air Is Good For Me In My Opinion, but it has no optical drive, BUT can connect to other computers optical drive!
Literally goin to get the pro right now
It's 2016 now , I need a mac for homework and editing which one shall I get ? Mac air or Mac Pro
TheGamingImp2005 pro for performance air for portability
potato errors! + Viruses!
potato anyways that the macbook is stable and not freeze and secure and more fun! and premium
CoppoCop I'd get the Air. The air has way better battery life.
Michael Morris But your losing power :/
So the MacBook Pro is better to edit on than the MacBook air?? Yes or no?
Yes ofcourse.
+Sofie Thomsen no!! you never file deferents of air or pro!! i work with 3D graphic and air have same performance!!
Yes
stupid people!! compare real perfomans
Great review Liked and subscibed :)
Great video! Helped me make my decision.
Thanks for this awesome video!
It's really great for comparison , but what I hope is ,maybe this year can come out MacBook Air with Retina display...MacBook Pro slightly heavy than MacBook Air...
+Joe Ean Ooi I got both models not sure like i couldn't tell much of a difference about the weight. So im confused haha
you should do some more benchmarks with El capiten which now includes metal so it should be faster for the CPU
Hi! I am planning to buy the Macbook air next month because I need it for school work, papers, research, etc. I also want to install games in there such as The Sims. My question is, will it make my macbook air slower? What will be the effects of installing the sims?
Frankly if you gotta ask, go w/ Air.
potato better battery, just as fast, MagSafe (2016 MacBook Pro doesn't have MagSafe)
The 2015 one does. This is the 2015 Macbook Pro.
2015 Macbook Pro also has the force touch trackpad, while the Air doesn't.
this was really really helpful! thanks :)
Very helpful, thanks!
thank you so much for all the info, compared
Very informative! Thank you!
You actually pressing down or clicking the trackpad or the forcetouch of the Macbook Pro. I have tried and observed it.
+Vitan Alexandru (PiGeY) True! The trackpad would bend if I press it hard
I'm choosing between a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air for school essays and is easy to use, which one should I get?
Cece Mcrise MacBook Air
Cece Mcrise Macbook air
What one do you think I should chose I will use it for stuff like UA-cam and gaming and also school
is it worth it getting a new macbook pro with retina basic model, or upgrading my 2012 macbook pro basic model to ssd storage?
one i feel like i am moving on to modern laptop and the other saves money.
I am an accounting student and i dont know what macbook to buy air or pro? I will be using it mostly for studies watching movies and music
What would be best for a student 128gb or 256gb mbpr ssd? I will mostly be using it to watch videos, surf the web, Microsoft office and a bit of ps and video editing
I need a new laptop for school and Daily use. Wich should I get, the macbook pro or the macbook air?
Macbook air is sufficient for daily use and some more.
Fil ?
George Hoare I think u should definitely not get the 2016 model unless u want to spend more money for dongles and enter the dongle (adapters) life. The 2016 is really inconvenient for a college student because of all the adapted u will have to carry and if you forget the one u need then u might be screwed
i'm going to major in business/marketing, do you think i should get the air or pro?
Incoming college freshman going into engineering. Which do you think I should purchase? Or do you think I should go PC, if so, any recommendations?
Hugh G. Rection Umm what kind of engineering course r u going?
+Travis Hairston if you need a lot of performance from a laptop, youde need the highest 13" MacBook with i7, or the lowest priced 15" MacBook. That's my advice.
***** I got the 13" 15' pro
Great review!
Honestly both are pretty awesome
I just ordered the MacBook Air with 8gb ram and the i7 and 3.2GHz turbo boost configuration so how would that compare to the MacBook Pros performance?
Hi ~ nice shirt !!! Can you tell me where can I buy it ? THX !
Air is enough. Just get a little better air with more ram.
+Teh Mc-Cookiez (Gameplay) Thanks
+Teh MC Exactly. Haikal needs to perform CPR to give his MacBook some air, in order to revive it.
+Thecawesomeone I tried your test and it works. Well, for 30 minutes.
Haikal Ghifari TAKE IT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM! QUICK WE HAVEN'T GOT MUCH TIME.
A great comparison. Thanks!
I need a MacBook for
College
Editing UA-cam vids
Social Media
Which one would be good for me?
Macbook air is still the best !
I have a strong feeling that the next Mac Book Pro with retina display will be coming out sometime soon and I think it will have the new Intel 6th Gen CPUs and DDR4 RAM and more...
There are no Skylake Mobile CPUs right now, you won't see them on any Apple device soon.
Only custom built PCs have it from what I've seen.
+NeedMoreMushrooms Are you sure? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the sky lake CPUs are in the Lenovo Y700 laptop with DDR4 RAM as well.
Base model of MacBook Air comes with 8gb ram
potato yes
potato it does.
I got the Mac Book Pro 13 inch Retina display.
How is the benchmark difference between the macbook air and pro so small? The pro has 2x the ram, and a 2,7 processor compared to 1,6. Is it because when the benchmark apps are running both go into turbo boost?
