- Roasted chicken and potatoes can get awfully boring when it comes down to it.... every once in a while it's nice to switch it up to remind yourself that other options can and do exist. This is one of them and boy is it a fun recipe to impress. I hope you enjoy the recipe and make sure to drop a comment if you end up trying it out!
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken leg (thigh and drumstick)
Fresh thyme sprigs
Fresh rosemary sprigs
3-4 garlic cloves
2 tbsp sour cream
4 tbsp greek yogurt
1 tbsp chopped fennel tops
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp minced lemon zest
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 Yukon gold potatoes

The sights, sounds, work, taste here are pure ART! Next level stuff. Way more than just ingredients, recipe, food, eating!
Bravo! Well done and really not at all that complicated for such an elegant-looking dish.
Those crispy potatoes looked so good!!! For the yogurt sour cream, I can see it being similarly tasty with dill pickle juice instead of lemon and dill instead of fennel 🤤
I LOVE your reactions to tasting your creations. Your channel, the recipes recipes and your demeanor are so humbling and relaxing to watch. Your food always looks exquisite and crafted from the heart!
What a lovely comment. Much appreciated.
I'm curious are you still working as a professional cook?
Beautiful presentation! Love watching you create such yumminess.😊
Yum!! I could also see that base with a nice sunny side up egg on top!
Delicious
been following your channel and recipes for over 10 years now! keep it up man
as always, looks good! what is the equipment you used for spiraling the potatoes?
Looks great! Think the yoghurt would work with other herbs? I'm thinking Dill 😛
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much!
OMG! It's been a long time I've searching for this Channel. Several years ago i watched your videos about Ratatouille, but i forgot your name! Now i found it! Byron Talbott, I'm gonna subscribe and try to remember your name! 🤣🥰
Something wonderful and easy to look forward to!!!
You make it simple..so yummmm. delicioussssss...that sound...crispy.mouth watering❤
Thank you!! Potatoes are basically a magic ingredient. lol
@@ByronTalbott love it🫰
Byron I’ve been following you since the how to cut fruit videos a long time ago and I’m pretty sure I’ve watched them all 😅 love them!!
Question - have you ever thought about participating in any cooking show? (Ex. Master chef, next level chef etc.) I know you’ve worked at a Ramsays restaurant before but I’m genuinely curious if you ever thought about it or give it a try.
I have thought about it and believe it or not I turned down just about every cooking show you could imagine for one reason or another. It is something that I consider though…
Wooow so easy to make so yuumnn thank to share recipe
Perfection dish the cream is a right touch ❤
it looks so delicious my god gonna have to try out this recipe soon😋😋
I've got dried fennel, but can't remember what fresh tastes like. Now I got the cravings. How's your garden?
Love the simplicity! Which types of vegetables would you plate with this dish?
Whatever vegetables you enjoy.
That'd be awesome with a nice steak, horseradish chive sauce at the bottom with some sauteed green beans. May have to play with this recipe. Thanks for the inspiration
Oooooohhh!! You hit the nail right on the head with your steak/horseradish/chive combo. I might need to try that out!
Hi Byron, what is that device you used to grind the potatoes into shoestrings? Do you have a link for it? Thanks in advance!
Love this!! But how am i supposed to make this for 4 people, with useing 25 pans?`
Yumm🙏👍👌
Hey Byron, nice one. Do you think it would be a good idea to rinse the potatoes in water after you shred them?
You could, but I actually like using the starch to my advantage. Helps the darn thing stay intact. Lol.
🔥🔥
yes!!! thanks!
Hey man, love your vids. The video quality itself has gone down though - the videos now are kinda pixelated and look lower resolution.
The last video that didn't look this way was your Frico video. Every video after that one has the slightly pixelated look.
If you just full-screen this video (above) and look at the title card at 0:16, you can see how the text just isn't sharp and looks funny.
Hope this gets tweaked to get back to normal!
Can't lose with potatoes
Absolutely never.

Looks delicious! I'm curious, after roasting the lemon in the oven, does it still have the bitter taste of the rind
