Could you tell me what your startoff for making beats looked like? Like did you learn music theory when you were younger, or did you do an online course or did you just start to make some amateur piano beats? I also wanna start getting into it again but I'm often a bit overwhelmed what the best thing to do would be to get better and think a little inspiration could help me there. Would appreciate it :)
i started off the same way :) confused, didnt know what to do, or how to make anything. my first plan of action was listening to other people's music that i felt inspired by, studying it like homework, and sort of making their methods my own. The more i did this, the more i soon made the music that i once copied from others, into my own style. Its a long process, but well worth it :D
does making beats that quick take skill or are u just like that? i use a midi instead of just on the computer but i feel as if your method would stress me out but then again it look way easier and faster the way you do it(genuine question)!
this is a more watered down version of my beat style. typically i put a lot more time and effort in the sound selection/patterns, but i didnt wanna make a 1-2 hour long video lol
I notice that you added a piano melody , layered it with another piano and then added 2 leads a string and another lead. I wanted to know if there is a limit to how much melodies or layering or instruments you add to your beat especially if its for a song. And is choosing the best sound more beneficial than trying to sound design yours.
typically if you are wanting artists to get on ur beats, the less amount of sounds the better, and yes i believe searching for ur own sounds is better unless you are skilled at sound design.
@@violetflowers1754 at 1:10 you click in 2 notes while its playing and they’re muted but when i be doin that i can hear the notes click in n it throws me off

so basically the better to question to ask would be what would be the best way to go about making a beat midi or on computer doing what you did
