How did you manage not to get entangled in the bridle lines? When I did this the bridle lines wrapped around my legs and I got caught like a little fly in a spider's web; I hardly could move my legs anymore; very easy to get drowned without a life jacket.

The secret is to roll your lines on the bar properly. If you do it and manage to fold the kite in 2 nicely, than the bridles stay more or less inside the kite. Also stay on the side of the leading edge.

What happen at end ? Boat rescue ? Board ? Wearing a life jacket or impact vest ? Well done. Great pack down

I had no life west. It was a small regatta, the wind died after the race and 2 boats had to rescue 10 guys with foilkites. I left the board drifting downwind thinking I'll relaunch quickly. In the end I was floating around half an hour until the boat came to me.

Cédric Morelle, I left the foil drift downwind. I hadn't planned such a self rescue and was hoping the relaunch fast and get going.

Nice calm water & no wind.
A tidy job but it's never like that when I get in trouble.
