Hi Steve, yep and I've also seen a new LRF version of the TQ50C (called the Panther, at least in Oz anyway), which takes 18650 batteries! :) Cheers. Russ
Hi Roman, there should be several reticle options in the menu, plus possibly a 'no reticle' option, for filming wildlife etc. Hopefully you can activate the reticle. I'll also ask Bruce for you. Cheers. Russ
Bruce quickly replied... There are versions of the TQ50C that do not have a reticle. This is to allow the HIKMIKCRO to be sold and used as a spotter or front add-on in countries where thermal scopes are not permitted. My info is that model HM-TR16-50XG/CW-50C does not have a reticle. The latest version of the firmware for the TQ50C is V5.5.52_220826. It might be possible to get a reticle by installing the latest firmware or it may be the case that simply having the model number shown above makes it impossible to get a reticle. 🤷🏻♂️ Hope this helps, cheers. Russ
Thank you for reply. I could just install other software and that's it. I already have the latest update on it under Unfortunately this function does not exist😒. I hope that someone can still help me. Thank you for trouble. novel
hiya russ nice review as always . just of topic but do you no if ash at custom hunting is still doing anything tried to contact him about a le032 but not heard back. anyway keep up the good work.
Thanks very much wooley and thanks for watching. Ash is still there and still trading, but is looking after a relative right now so apologies for missing your email. Could you email him again pls and he'll get it for sure this time. Cheers. Russ
@@wooley2861 There's no LRF with a laser splash that will be picked-up by the thermal, though I believe there is a new HIKMICRO thermal spotter-scope coming out that has a built-in LRF and displays on screen, and takes 18650 batteries too. Have a look at the (new prototype?) HICMICRO Panther on the Aussie YT channel '@Hunt The Night': ua-cam.com/video/i36ev3G3xBk/v-deo.html Cheers. Russ

russ sorry again but do you no if the le032 laser range finder will work with a thermal scope
Sorry no the two aren't compatible, the LRF beam is infra-red and thermal radiation is a whole different spectrum.
Cheers. Russ
@@RussDouglas222 cheers russ is there anything out there that will do it
