When you find the perfect pairing its just....*chef's kiss* Loved seeing the Energy, Obstacle, Advice spread with tarot and oracle. I can't believe I didn't think of doing that! Thanks so much for these videos. I always walk away having learned something new.
I really enjoyed the 3 different ways to approach readings! Awesome! This is really a strange reading. I was just having a conversation about this last night with my boyfriend. He was asking how I can find peace currently and cease my indecisiveness about life choices. He asked if I needed a higher spiritual community to join and I said that I have a personal relationship with a higher power that doesn’t require connection in community. He asked if it ever gets tiring… being the lonewolf. I was confused by the conversation topic he brought up and so I told him so and that I’m not sure what he’s trying to communicate but that the thing I’ve heard often in my life come up from friends and such is that I need to stop focusing on the outcome and instead enjoy the journey as it comes. I feel like this reading emphasizes letting go of the indecision and not fearing making the “wrong choice” in everything because it leads to stagnancy. I’ve also recently got the Hanged Man and 7 of cups from this deck in my own reading to myself but didn’t know really how to make sense of it. Thank you for your perspective. I think I will also consider purchasing the Oracle deck. I also got the Ace of Wands in the same reading but with the 10 of Pentacles and 4 of Pentacles from that deck.
Such a great video! I adore working with Tarot and Oracle cards together! It's basically my favorite thing to do, especially for personal readings. I'm still working on finding the Oracle deck that works for me to read for others. For my personal readings I draw an Oracle card as a topic or message, typically read the entry from the accompanying book, and then draw 3 Tarot cards asking what else I need to know about the topic/message of the Oracle card. Doing that has helped me so much in coping with chronic physical illness and accompanying depression and anxiety. A newer favorite spread is your Energy/Obstacle/Advice spread.it has revolutionized and revitalized my working with Oracle cards. 😊💖 I don't think I'd thought of pairing these two decks together yet. I'm definitely gonna have to try these two together. I've been trying to figure out a good Tarot for the Wisdom of the Oracle. This one might be just what I've been looking for.

this was great! I loved seeing rh Oracle as the clarifiers. A great use of the cards together. I also will draw an oracle as a spread clarifier if the cards are contradictory or something feels off, to get the over all message or energy the spread has. That has helped me with some ah ha moments for sure

Yes, please keep it organic and take us along for the ride as the messages work their way through for you; I am *here* for that! :) My favorite example was adding an oracle as a clarifying card at the end (wrap-up the reading/action-item), and I'd love to see more of that (maybe just spontaneously as you're making videos for this series, and/if a spread comes up that seems to need an oracle clarifying card, go ahead and add one in! --the "on they fly"/"going with your intuition in the moment" nature of these videos is part of what makes them so wonderful!) Thank you Lisa! Also, I love Tarot of the Mystical Moments, but wish I loved the collage art in Wisdom of the Oracle, because those were wonderful keywords and such a great energetic match! Also, I love how the spiral snail shell symbol came up in the reading with both "The Chariot" and "Round and Round." That was such a cool synchronicity!

Because I work with spreads a lot I tend to pull from one card from which deck feels most like it fits with the potion so it really depends on what decks I'm working with whether I pull more tarot or more oracle cards. However, with my weekly check-in spread I pull two tarot cards and an oracle card and where the oracle card gets pulled depends on where I feel it will be most helpful given the vibe of the deck.
This has been very helpful. I have been feeling stunted lately and this is just what I needed to get me out of my doldrums and stop slipping backward in my practice. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing so many ways to work with tarot and oracle decks! Love the video. I'm still mostly doing a one-card draw for me, three card draws for friends, and as many as I need to when writing fiction, ha. But it doesn't go as smoothly when I use oracle with tarot. You know the way that people learning musical instruments or voice need to warm up? I feel like we need some 'warm up exercises' for readings!
After a year of reading tarot, I have about 16 tarot decks. I’m now starting to look at using oracle together with tarot. I have one oracle deck, the Prairie Majesty Oracle. I love it because it’s a very balanced deck and I can do a simple 3 card reading using it alone. I would like to use my oracle to pair with multiple decks. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Also I’ve gotten my tarot UA-cam channel set up and ready to go! Would you mind sharing what camera you use and lighting? I never liked oracle cards when I used them alone, but in combo with tarot, I LOVE it. Making great pairings is one of my favorite things.
