Dan did a solo version of this many years ago, and it's good, but this duet is just superlative. Dan + Violet + Victor = epicness! Great arrangement, great singing, two wonderful voices that blend so well. And Dan's video editing, of course. And BTW, Dan does LOTS of music that's not metal and not metalized. Folk, Broadway, ballads, 80s covers, Christmas, Disney, even some classical. Also tons of hard rock and metal songs, and (my favorite) ordinary songs, like this one, a very good song on its own, that he "metalizes." They really show off his creativity and musical wizardry. But whatever you want, Dan can do. Thanks for your reactions!
Thank you! I had completely forgotten about the older version he did! What a fun treasure to rediscover. (He does show a glimpse of his sense of humour at the end, after the song ends.😂)
Dan as noted is in Brazil. Violet is Brazilian, but lives in Canada. Victor, in his "basement" (who knows? could be) is in Sweden. I believe he doesn't do the black background because he's showing off a portion of his guitar collection for the "Victor the Guitar Nerd" vibe, or could be other reasons, but that space is his studio.
Great reaction, Ace!! As i understand it, the black fabric covers the foam board that creates a soundproofing wall which keeps the music from echoing back to him & to us. His studio is in his garage. Very clever & resourceful young man is Dan!
That makes a lot of sense. I wanted to use soundproofing panels in this place and adding a black backdrop like that would be an awesome way to go about it
Love this duet so much!!! Excellent metal arrangement by Dan. Brilliant and beautifully sung! Victor, as always, is fabulous! One of my favorite DV covers. See you in the next one!
I really enjoyed your reactions to this great version of Kiss From A Rose. Dan and Violet are both amazing artists. I don't believe you have reacted to his most recent song, My Heart Will Go On, the Celine Dion Titanic cover. It is out of this world good, and you know Dan doesn't sing a sad love song. He brings the metal and reimagines it into a powerful anthem. I hope you will showcase it and I look forward to it. Thanks.
No I haven't gotten to it yet. It is on the list. There are just so many to go through on the list already. Someone actually requested a Buy Me a Coffee one today, also
Thanks for reacting. Violet is also Brazilian. On her channel, she and Dan do a cover of Guns 'n' Roses "Patience." Violet does a great cover of "Wicked Game" (Chris Isaak).
Dan uses his garage as a studio. On one of Dan's question and answer videos someone asked if Dan paid Victor. He said that Dan is the only collaborator that he pays because when he was first starting out Victor often worked for him for free. He gives Victor 10% of all money made on a song that Victor is involved with. I wouldn't expect anything less from Dan
Dan was so excited when his channel began making enough money to pay the collaborators. For years, they all (including Dan) worked for free. Victor was always there for Dan's music, come pay or no pay. He's a true blessing.
Thanks for covering this- one of my favorites! If you enjoyed Violet you may want to check out her cover of Patience on her channel- another duet with Dan.
Dan Vasc and Violet Orlandi are two incredible singers. They're both brasilians. Their voices just matched perfectly in this song. That was a pretty awesome performance. Thanks for your enjoyable reaction.
We recorded this 2 weeks ago and this song has been stuck in my head ever since
Just the idea of turning it into a genuine duet is praiseworthy. The execution is brilliant.
It works so well

Yes very true. He does quite a bit

Oh cool. I didn't know she was in Canada.

Oh cool. I will say I probably won't touch anything Guns N Roses related, but that is a solid song.
❤❤❤❤Beautiful rendition! Many thanks for another great reaction to the amazing Dan Vasc and Violet!
It was fantastic
Great reaction. Love Dan and Violet together
Great reaction! Dan and Violet are awesome together! VASC nation ❤
They definitely are

It's a great song, but I most likely won't be checking any Guns n Roses out
If you 2 can react to his rendition af Shaman's fairy tale, it would be cool, 3 genres in 1 song.
Or even Gethsemane.
Those are on the list
👍
Victor is in Sweden, Violet is also Brazilian and is in Canada and Dan is in Brazil, tks 😊
You must see Violet's rendition to Wicked Games and Hotel California. By the way, she is also brazilian.
I'll add them to the list
Nothing against Seal, but version is absolutely amazing! Thank you for your reaction.
It's a fantastic version
They do another co-lab doing ‘Patience’.
Very cool
Love this one. ❤
It is so good
Victor the guitar nerd is from Sweden and do not want to show his face, just want us to focus on his guitar playing...
That's understandable and fair
