That was such a lovely video 😊 love watching your lovely family work together and hearing all your plans. You have inside so cosy and homely. Happy steak night to you all especially woofie xx
Great vlog. For beginners doing a UA-cam channel you are doing great and you will see your subscribers will soon go up. I like that you explain how you will be renovating the manor. Keep up the great work and don’t pay any attention to negative comments!
I love the idea that you want to keep some of the buildings as agricultural buildings. There is something to be said for seeing old buildings in their near-original state. Also, won’t those horse stalls be beautiful in the old barn?!
Good choice on the kitchen! I once stated a preference for open shelves instead of confounding units. People looked horrified. Well, there is grease.... Still wish I'd gone for that look.
Greetings from Monflanquin in the Lot-et-Garonne (about 2 hours south of you). Thanks for the tour in the last video, and thanks for filming and posting your efforts to restore a beautiful French property. If it weren't for the Brits much of the French patrimoines would remain in ruins (we are Americans, btw).
Indeed! I keep forgetting, being more of an instagrammer so poor Charlton has to contend with my muck-ups! Usually half way through I find myself going oh I’ve done it again! 😂👍
As much as I enjoy hearing how/what you're doing, I worry about you giving the public so much information about what you have. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I worry about unscrupulous people doing some ...shopping - at your home.
That’s not how to use an ax. One hand is near the ax attachment and the other at the end of the handle. The one near the ax attachment slides down the ax as you swing. Look it up.

I totally agree!
Wonderful with the shelves to get organized❤
Thank you! 🤗

Thanks for watching! We can’t wait to see this change - I’m sure my 🇫🇷 grandmother would be proud 💫
Lovely property.
We agree! She’s stunning
Looking forward to all the restoration. Off to a good start.
Thanks 👍
You are going to do a fantastic job! Well done good video!
Thank you so much! 💫
Great video and great work everyone. Well done for managing to split that log. Maybe a log splitter would be useful.
Great idea, however we’re waiting for a tractor and a log splitter tool to arrive 💫
Try filming in landscape mode, will give the viewers a better picture.

Get some feral, but fixed barn cats to help with rodent population.
Thanks for your great comment but cats aren’t part of our future plans. 💫🐈⬛
Something to think about. They feed themselves and help get rid of rodents.
@@bethcervenka1813 That's a fallacy. They don't feed themselves.
@ Funny, I’ve seen them do it and I follow a horse / cow operation and they have barn cats. They’ve shown them catching the rats.

Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for looking out for me Beth😉
@@CharltonWayregardless of handling…you split it in 3 swings after the bet. 😊
