    What helps this theory is blood moon’s ability Minds Eye lets them hit Ghost Pokemon with normal moves, as if it’s in a weird halfway state of life and death

    Blood moon is definitely one of the coolest things they've ever done. Legends Arceus is one of my favorite games, so I appreciate how many Legends references were in these games. Honestly I didn't expect that.

    I really love this theory. Terapagos sure has a lot of unknown powers, but it's crystals (who seem to keep it's powers within them) being a "life enhancer" totally makes sense.
    I don't believe they actually "revieve" someone (because the original Sada/Turo then had to survive Koraidons/Miraidons attack in Area Zero - being exposed to even more crystals, filled with Terapgaos' power) but 'strenghten' or 'enhancing' a person/Pokemon sounds absolutely logical. Especially if we think about the influence the crystals had on technology, advancing it far beyond the worldwide possibilities (e.g. creating the time machine or AI Sada/Turo).
    It would only make sense that a Pokémon like Ursaluna could be "enhanced" (evolved) too, if it's the only foreign Pokemon there, who drinks the water daily and 'adapts' accordingly. Would also explain why we see Hisuian variants there. The water enhanced the old Basculins lifespan, so that they won't die out in the forest. (Maybe this also explains Hisuian Sliggoo, who was hidden within the woods until the outbreak event?)
    Holy, you can make so much out of these crystals ...
    Thanks for talking about this! Bloodmoon Ursaluna is such a great Pokémon und certainly deserves the attention 😊

    I can't help but think Blook Moon Ursuluna is a California region reference. It's only seen from one side, thus the one active eye.

    Its criminally injustice that this version of Ursaluna did not get ground ghost typing

    Definitely a cool pokemon!
    I always figured it was alive. That, having arrived from ancient Hisui, it was relentlessly harassed by the local ghost population of Kitakami. They drove insane, until its mental and screaming powers (brought on by frustration) were honed to hit spirits! Bloodmoon always looks like its *seen some $#!t.*

    Ogerpon's Teal mask is said to have the power to restore life to withered plants, so maybe it can also restore life to dead bodies.

    • @lumiosepost
      @lumiosepost  День тому

      Oooh! That could be another point to the mask being made from crystals from the pool, and, in turn, the crystal having resurrection properties!

    If the professor is from an alternate timeline, the research desk in the underdepths shouldn't change at all. Time based causality, like what goes on with the notes on that desk ONLY occurs when a major current timeline event is altered. You erase the time machine from existence by helping the professor change research topic. A note on the underdepths research desk talks about the past professor of your game and as such timeline, being handed a white book by a child they met at the crystal pool. This leads to the professor researching Terapagos instead of trying to finish the time machine. The paradox Pokémon are now trapped in a literal paradox and the professor dies in a cave in instead of by the box legendary Pokémon. The professor's temporaly changing research notes and the dialogue at the crystal pool suggest this, along with Arven being unable to recognise the Scarlet/Violet book because he never got to take originally via this new paradox.

    I thought Ursaluna swam to Kitakami? Unless it died at the crystal pool and came back to life for that. But I don't think the crystal actually has the power to bring the dead back. Ursaluna having a form change was a rare thing that it went through by living in Timeless Woods.

    • @lumiosepost
      @lumiosepost  День тому +1

      It did! The theory here is that it died after that journey.

    I say that every point relying on "Ogerpon been alive for so long" is completely irrelevant and unrelated, because pretty much every Legendary across the franchise also been alive for just as long or even longer (with some exceptions like Type: Full, Nebbie, Mewtwo, Kubfu, etc). Even randoms like the Swords of Justice have been around for at least 1,500 years which makes them multi-generations old.
    But the rest, yeah, I agree there's certainly something going on with the Crystal Pool and the afterlife.

    Bloodmoon Ursaluna really is messed up especially when you want to head canon that Ursaluna and the one you rode in Legends Arceus is one and the same. And people say Pokémon can’t get dark.
    Oh in case you wondering what’s been happening with me and my family here it is.
    My mom just got a new port today so she can try to do dialysis at home and she’s miserable for she’s in pain. So she’s staying in bed for the rest of the day and my dad took a day off to be with her. She’s also now waiting for a new kidney thankfully. As for me, I’m fine and I’m at arms reach for her but damn I wish she never got Good Pastor’s Syndrome which is a REALLY rare autoimmune disease that only one person here where I live get per year and it’s super trippy. Overall it’s what it is.
    Ok thanks for reading this. 😳🥺

    Great culmination of ideas. And while I agree with you, I'm not sure how we jumped from Native Japanese Lore to Native American on the other side of the world.
    But again I think its the likely case along w its ability to hit ghost w normal moves.

    • @lumiosepost
      @lumiosepost  День тому

      Great addition with the ability!
      As for the Native American lore, it’s important to remember that Pokemon pulls from all over. Zekrom and Reshiram, along with Emboar, pulls from Chinese origins despite being in an American setting, Celebi’s beta design points to some Native American inspiration despite being in a Japanese setting, and the Sun and Moon (Hawaii) legendaries have origins in alchemy which is traced back to Egyptian/Arabic roots
