There's no way us switch players would have known because the way they updated decorating now. I'm unable to hover over it without fully backing out. But I do see 2 new Reeds to place down. They're called Reed02_bush and Reed02. So there's that
Ugh, I'm on pc and the furniture mode changes suck! It's sooo slow and glitchy. Zooming out glitches and it's frustrating to deal with.
@saltycat662 our cursor on switch is stuck in the middle and we cannot move it at all so we can no longer hover over things from the decor menu 🫤 and yes decoration mode is so laggy but I do wish I purchased this game on PC instead of switch cause I could at least scroll all the way to the bottom when I get new items, just the scrolling alone would be a game changer on PC for me.
I’m on switch. I won’t do anything in decorating mode because of the cursor being stuck. Just to move to the side it takes forever!
@heatherbellnails6027 yeah it's awful! I haven't decorated anything in weeks because of that.
I complained to them about this, and they said “we like it like this” yes gameloft customer service at its finest.
This doesn't work on Switch!! Tried just now in this week decor challenging but you have to move the cursor in the Dreamsnaps tab but on switch you can't move your cursor so it's not possible unfortunately!
It doesn't work this week. We have an outfit challenge and the Dreamsnap tab is in the wardrobe not in furniture. Unfortunately have to wait till next week i suppose😢

For the people with a Switch!
When you get to the part when you're in the Dreamsnap furniture filter, press x, than go and hover over the lilypad and search for similar items with 🔽 and scroll down for the brick corner post and scroll more down for the Magnolia path next to the magnolia trees.

Just wish they had a little fence that could be used in doors...to block off areas but still see through. E.g. for pet shop for example
Someone found magnolia path by doing similar items to the pink trees! Idk to much about it all i saw was a picture in discord i would wait for a video for more info

The pink tress you mention are the magnolias ? Or the turning red vase?

just tried this; (2hrs after you posted video) and because it's an outfit challenge, the dreamsnap icon does not appear in furniture mode, so i wasn't able to make the brick post happen

Would'nt work for me on switch... but dreamsnap is'nt in my menu either. Looks like it's locked now.

Thank you for replying.
If the problem re-occurs, please try to follow these simple steps in order to solve the issue:
- reboot your device, restart the game
- restart your WiFi and make sure that you have a strong and stable Internet connection
- change the place of items that were prepared for the photo
- change your character's position/location
- change camera's angle and try to make the photo from another angle
- try to submit your DreamSnap once again

It would be cool if DDV came out with different carved pumpkins to place on the brick post for fall decor. I really enjoy the pumpkins surrounding the Partners statue at Disneyland.
The little "simple lamp" would be perfect on top of the brick corner post!

Awe I can't get it to work on switch, it just pulls up more water Lily's and I can't hover over with the furniture menu up 😢

@Mugsy661 how exactly were you able to hover over the lily while decor tab is open? The switch cursor doesn't let you hover over it unless you're fully backed out.
@@jazyd1992 I did it before I received my results from the Dreamsnaps. I noticed I cannot do it now that the Dreamsnap switched to the new one

I discovered this item when doing last week’s dreamsnap. I have it placed in my valley, but can’t find it again in furniture mode without using the duplicate feature
I just made sure to keep one placed by my house so I can duplicate it again.
Hey y'all I was thinking in one of serrohs videos he said someone on Reddit wanted Alice and wonderland biomes and peterpan and in a more recent video they said they'll make future biomes more simple what if skull rock leads to those new biomes theere both have a sort of magic and so. Do the pillars so what do you think

I don't think it is possible on Switch, the show similar item on Switch is down on the D Pad, which just moves the cursor down in the Dreamsnaps menu.

Once you place one down does it show up in the menu after or do you have to keep doing that trick?

Just tried it. I only found 2 types of (new ) reeds. Don't see the brick column or magnolia path?

I just tried this on PC and it didn't work; the dreamsnap filter isn't showing up in the build menu. I'm wondering if it's because the current dreamsnap challenge just changed to a clothing challenge instead of the decor one that just ended. Will try again once we have another decor challenge!

This looks like a mickey item. The brick is reminiscent of his items. This is a great item though. Will be seeing if I can grab one.

What’s the point of a brick fence post if we have no matching brick fence??
I took the iron and brick fence, placed 1 at a time, and used this as the ends.
I don't think it will work for us console players. Only PC. We can't hover over an item in furniture mode.
You would just have to position your cursor over it before pulling the furniture menu back up, I’ve used the duplicate item feature before on xbox
I was able to get it to work after a few tries. On xbox
@@kellbell515_nope it doesn’t work. I’ve tried, I even tried connecting a keyboard and mouse and I can’t control the mouse so of course like always us console players get the short end of the stick.
@rctigger705 I've tried everything possible and it doesn't work. Once you enter the dreamsnaps part of the menu, the cursor is fixed on the screen and you can't hover an item no matter what you do.
@@Bully_Biscuit I literally just did it on my Xbox.
Go into furniture mode > select DreamSnaps filter > press Y to minimize the screen with all the furniture type options > put the cursor over an already placed lilypad from the underbrush section/in glade of trust > there will be prompts in the bottom left corner, one says “similar items” (down on d pad on Xbox) > the furniture window will pop back open and it will be within the top few rows.
Console did not get the short end of the stick, every platform has the same exact features on this game.

On switch it will not show up because we are on “OUTFIT” challenge this week. It’s why the DreamSnaps tab with FURNITURE will not pop up. I guess….next week if the challenge is “DECOR” the Brick Corner Post may show up? It’s a cool “Goofy” item, looks like something that can accent his house. 🫶😇
