This is good Mr. Murphy. The Spaniards had very popular series called "Madrileños por el mundo" and "Andaluces por el mundo." There were more but these two were the most successful. I'm looking forward to you covering the locations in person with your hosts. I ADMIRE and ADORE the fact that these Jamaican people are learning and living about places than Canada, the US, Japan, Australia, and the UK. I find it even better when these guys are not living in western Europe. The Jamaican passport brings you places; the heart and mind brings you everywhere else.
@@justus-nataleenaila410 mama, the Caribbean is part of the North American continent. So, their guess of North America is correct. They generally mean the US and Canada, but you can say, no. The Caribbean, below the US. This usually works for me.
Hello 🇬🇧🇯🇲 here !! I am relocating there to Baku with my family in a few months for business purposes and would love to connect with you Natalee! Can we? My girl and son (8 & 6) will be going school so they could play together 😊

Keep up the good work Xavier. Its educational clean and enlightening.
Hi Nathalee, I could see the absolute joy on your face when your daughter joined the conversation.🥰 It's awesome that you and her can experience your Azerbaijan adventure together. Xavier, I live vicariously from your guest interviews, kudos.👍
It is always amazing to know how children learn languages so easily. She will soon learn the national language and Turkish too. Another great interview.
@@mijannewhyte6800 At this stage of her life, she will pick up Turkish and whatever language is spoken by students at her school, especially if they are close friends. It also depends on the area they live of Azerbaijan. We learn directly and indirectly. She may be minding her own business at school and consistently hear a student saying günaydın each time he or she sees a friend when they meet at school in the morning and catch it easily.
@@GeoMathLab You are perfectly right George. It is very possible. In fact her best friend Inji, whom she mentioned, is Turkish, and when Naila is around her family they are always speaking Turkish ☺️ and Naila also likes watching Turkish kid shows.
Oh my, your guest has such a lovely 100-watt smile! 💯Family & I loved this episode, about Natalie's experiences in such a hospitable country. It's lovely to hear about places like this, that are beautifully set apart from some others which are less welcoming to foreigners. Nyla's language-learning accomplishments are impressive -- we hope Natalie finds the time to learn a little more of the language, so she can enjoy even more direct communication w/the local people! 😊🇯🇲 🇦🇿
Thank you so much😊. I have actually restarted my language classes so hopefully I’ll catch on 🙏🏾🙏🏾. It truly is lovely hear. I hope more Jamaicans can get to visit.

My husband and I often watched an elderly couple on UA-cam (Kend Heyati) in Azerbaijan cooking and doing daily chores on their farm. It's a relaxing video if you're used to country life and moved a big city like NYC. Never knew Black people especially Jamaicans venture there. Kudos to Natalee and her daughter. Any Jamaicans in North Korea or Turkmenistan? It's a blessing to be able to speak other languages. I heard there are a number of Sudanese in Azerbaijan.
