I’m sooo happy for this video. I saw you yesterday and you seemed very sad and said you were uninspired. Please continue with your tutorials. We love them and YOU!!!! You inspire us and we need you💕❤️😍👏👏👏👏👏
i know im randomly asking but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Anson Gabriel I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Wow! I love this video! First you show us how to draw the flower and the shading, then how to paint it. This is so different than other "youtuber" tutorials. A lot of us out here have the desire to paint, but also need drawing skills to be a better watercolorist. Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing this flower. This is my birthday flower. I was born August 1st. Never new this flower was an Aug flower. Now I do thanks to you. Great job 👍🌞😎🌴 FLORIDA.
Watching on my tv but have to find it & comment on my phone. You make this look like magic Emma! I can't seem to get paint on paper no matter how badly I want to. LOL I went on hospice last week, then my house got flooded in a storm; just an inch or more & not my kitchen. But LORD have mercy. My studio was 1st to get cleaned up; most important! But it's not the same & I just keep having to use what energy I have on other things, such as nurses & screwed up meds. 🤪 I just want to DO ART!!! by the time I have time, I'm too worn out or don't feel good enough. Besides the cancer & COPD, I got my 2nd COVID shot last Wed, the 30th, so that's making me I'll. I will stop whining- LOL And just want to THANK YOU for your videos cause at least I can watch you paint! GOD BLESS YOU MY DEAR EMMA❣
This is SO gorgeous! I can only hope to one day be half as good as you are. You are so calming and inspiring to me also, and such a great teacher. Some of the commenters said you seemed sad yesterday. Please know that I struggle with anxiety too, but I look forward to your tutorials all the time and you always make me feel better. And I know there are lots more out there that feel the same way I do about your videos. Please don't stop!
Lovely tutorial. Gladiolus are one of my favourites, but I had no idea how to draw them. You really simplified it. They're a good one to do as they come in just about every colour, some are frilly, some dark in the middle, some light. They all have 3 stamens, which you got spot on in your painting.
Oh this is lovely. I hope you are feeling better. I so love your tutorials. I think you are one of the best out there. I see many tutorials because, since I am a beginner, I am thirsty like a sponge to drink up everything. But I am happy to say that this little sponge prefers your tutorials the best. You do such a lovely job. You provide bird's eye views as you go. You always pick marvelous subjects to paint, and you explain things thoroughly. Please....pretty please....do not stop doing this. I love it.....we love it.
Love both of these so much- can’t wait to try. I never would have thought I could do the pen & ink florals, but you are such a good teacher and break it down so well, that it is absolutely possible to draw & be proud of it! And I thank you for that!
I love this one. I’ve been pretty un motivated lately and this may be the trigger to help me get interested in painting. Painting makes me happy and your tutorials are the ones I love the most. Thank you. I love that you help us to learn how to draw too.
So glad to see you posting again. You looked so down yesterday. Glad you're looking and sounding better. AND my friend loves purple and green so I have something to paint for her now!
Hi from the UK. We call this flower Gladioli and the plural is still Gladioli. I love your tutorials! You and Jenna Rainey crack me up with your pronunciation. Can you do some more pencil drawings of flowers please. By the way your two boys are gorgeous!
I love your tutorials. I have found that I am improving on the drawing but need many more lessons in watercolor painting. If I could I would post a photo of my terrible looking gladioli!
Emma, I LOVE your Tutorials. Have been falling a little bit behind because of summer break but can’t wait to watch them ! Thank you so much 💕☀️🎨 will try this for my sister who is giving birth this month 💕🙏🏻
I was just at a Gladiola farm...love them....as a florist we refer to this flower as a gladiola, gladiolus is more....such as one Tulip or many Tulips.....lol...
First time commenting... Love your videos ❤️ You are such a talented artist and great instructor with easy to follow tutorials. Thank you for putting out such great content 🌻🌸🌷🌹 😊
Emma, I so enjoy your videos! I found you last year around Christmas time as I wanted to make my cards and I followed your mistletoe tutorial! Maybe you could ponder starting those now so we are ahead of the season? No worries if not though because I am here for it no matter what!!
I love you and your art sooooooo much. You’ve helped me learn such a great deal. But, your unsharpened pencil gives me anxiety. Like, you produce literal magic from a pencil that looks like you let squirrels sharpen it for you. Astounding. Lol. I know it’s dumb, and maybe I shouldn’t, but sharpening my pencil is like part of my “getting ready” phase. But you go undaunted. Amazing. Love every minute of it.
Where you are using brown, try using the complementary color red. This will neutralize your green and take your painting to the next level! I can’t wait to draw and paint these flowers! Remember cool colors recede into the picture and warm colors protrude so add blue to your shading for the parts of the flower behind and add a little yellow or red to the petals in the foreground.
Hélio Emma! I never comented here before, but i love your tutorials, i have learned and still learn so much from them! I love botanicals so i got super excited when This one poped for me! If you Don’t mind me asking, how do you keep your Palette from staining or remove the stains? I have a plastic one very simmilar , but your’s even when its dirty doesn’t look that satained as mine ahahahah

@Anson Gabriel It worked and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you really help me out :D
@Bryce Reece happy to help xD
Thank you, Emma. As a beginner in watercolor, I don't have much experience doing flowers so this was very helpful.

Do you use any other brushes besides snap brushes ?? I’d like to see you work with other ones. Might be a nice change. Or with different paints. 🤔🤔
