    My daffodils end up looking dead flat, so, after days of searching, I found you and I learnt patience- letting it dry before the next step. A happy new subscriber. Thank you!

      ❤️❤️❤️ thank you as always for your lovely comments! Ps: I wish I could improve our vaccine “reality” in Ontario! Still can’t get an appointment and schools are still closed 😭 but I am reading this NYT article that says “flow” state is a way to protect your mind from depression and I am more and more convinced that painting = healing ❤️ this channel is Watercoloring is keeping me sane... Thank you 💜 this is an article: www.nytimes.com/2021/04/19/well/mind/covid-mental-health-languishing.html?fbclid=IwAR017n8zzaTkZr1HT9sIEYjzpzRReiOep8Z9ObOlHx7YngyO9093N1IimV4

      I am sorry you are in Ontario right now. I don't know what to say because of anger and frustration. The status quo is due to the powers that rule ... Here, in BC, it is better but still bad. Members of the general public seem to have better ideas on how to deal with this pandemic than those who should be protecting us all.
      Thank you, so much, for the link ! 🥰
      Yes, without art and writing, I'd be losing my mind. I keep telling myself that, at least, we don't have to hide underground. (It all gets a bit easier when I let God run the show...)

    I love your videos. Your voice is very soothing as well. I have been painting professionally for over 50 years. But everytime I watch one of your videos, I learn something new...could you sometime try some exotic flowers, like bird of paradise or passion flower?

    • @AnnaBucciarelli

      Thank you so much Jamie ❤️ I feel like that too - every painting is an exploration and a learning experience. I don’t have any good reference photos of these flowers and I am concerned about copyright. As soon as our botanical gardens reopen I will get some exotic blooms 😊 Today I was able to find a ton of multi-coloured orchids so I will do a few videos on n those soon 💜💜💜 thank you for your support!

    WOW!!!!!!!! Another beautiful piece! I love how your husband came in and told you that your shadow was in the wrong place!😂 It's called artistic license!!! There is not enough publicity for their products...

    • @AnnaBucciarelli
      @AnnaBucciarelli  3 роки тому +1

      haha I don't mind giving free publicity to products I use. But they are not my #1 in general, mostly for vibrant subjects. if you see my top#10 favourite videos, I use mostly Daniel Smith, QOR comes 2nd. They have quite a limited range compared to WN and DS. But the few pigments I mention are definitely amazing.

    • @AnnaBucciarelli
      @AnnaBucciarelli  3 роки тому +2

      Thank you Mehdi. Great suggestion! My first thought is - paper plays a huge role so if you are not using 100% cotton from a trusted brand, I would switch and see the improvement immediately. Second, make sure the adjacent area is completely dry. Give it more than 1 hr. More like a day of drying. Lastly, I will do some experiments and see if I can do a full video. I suspect water ratio plays a role... i promise I will put something together.
