Whoever is reading this, let me tell you how freaking amazing you are today. And omg let's not forget about how beautiful you are on the inside and outside. Keep being the magnificent person that you came here to be.❤❤
I know Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account??
I stupidly lost the account password. I love any help you can give me!
Hi there, thanks. I am a serial killer and will be executed tomorrow, so your words are quite uplifting! Thanks and have a nice day!
On top of having a great day, reading this made it even better. Thank You! You have a great day as well.
💜💜💜💜💜
This made my day, thank you
Newbie photographer here. Like everyone else said the explanation is on point! You giving a lot of free knowledge and usually photographers don’t do that. Thank you!
Yes, this!! Everything he teaches is something most charge out the wazoo for 🥺♥️
Self taught photographer like me needs more photography vids! 😄
Yessss same !
In the same boat! I've been all over UA-cam University lol
I also had this same issues
And this has really affected me to reach out to get clients
Well me too..
Same here😹
I second all the suggestions calling for more "For Beginners" content! I've been booking steady castings with the headshots I took by myself following your advice - and I'm a total amateur when it comes to photography 😁 Thank you thank you!
I'm 100% self taught, and I have no idea what really any of this stuff is (I mean I know what lights and backdrops are LOL) but.. You explain things so well, and thoroughly. I just wanted to say thank you for being so helpful!
I take photos outside a lot and have only used natural light but I now have access to a studio and felt lost. This video was short and sweet but VERY informative. I feel more confident going into the studio now. Thank you for doing this.
Any tips I’m in same situation c
Tommy said beginning at 5:14 he likes to "shoot in the dark to make sure there's no other light around, but the lights he is pointing at his model". I didn't hear him say if he uses the modeling lights on his strobes. Auto focus needs light to focus. Also, shooting in darkness will dilate the model's pupils. Our pupils dilate in a dark room, but they don't react fast enough to the flash of a strobe light. Dilated pupils look unnatural in photos. I'm assuming he uses the modeling lights, but I didn't hear him talk about them. Great video, thanks Tommy!
yessir I use model lights in studio
Love how you're so casual and candid during your video. Keep it up!
Model sittin there soaking it all up, finna be correcting her photographers LMAO
Yo this is a great video, most people on UA-cam don’t get into detail like you do. Keep it up bro
I'm a beginner and can say I learned a lot from you already. Taking all the advice I can get lol
Definitely glad I came across ur page bro 🔥🔥🔥 you talking and breaking down everything
More content. There are very few POC who are photogs and even fewer that create content. Beginner vids will get you more views. Did I say MORE CONTENT. 5 months is too long.
Completely agree with everything ✔️
Great job to you and the model. Real people teaching photography skills. Love it!
Love your detail and ability to have a sense of humor!! Explanation is great. Hope to see more detail from step one to end.
Thank you! I just purchased the Sony A7iii & the 85mm 1.8 & I have been trying to figure out which lighting to use in studio- So your video is a GOD SEND for real! Thank you for your advice. Subscribing to your channel NOW!!!
thank you, im gonna make sure these videos keep coming!
This was extremely informational. It’s not often I find other POC that are creatives showing content of models that are POC. Please keep posting videos because this helps other photographers trying to grow in their craft. 📸✊🏾
So so helpful!!! Thank You!
Excellent advice for sure! Thanks Tommy K.
You’re all amazing, especially the camera guy filming. We couldn’t see him but he kept making you guys laugh 😆
This is amazing as you showed what what bad looks like and what good looks like
You explain everything so well, it's so helpful! Thank you!! Binging your videos.
Glad you like them!
This is great. All the key info without a bunch of fluff. Thanks! Very helpful as I figure out studio photography.
Your tips worked so well. I went up stairs and set up my lighting and camera and took pictures of myself and they came out great. Keep the videos coming. Thank you
Thank you, I dont own a studio but am gonna start soon as soon as I get my equipments and sure to learn more from you.
Happy to help!

Also that quote “ I’m going to show you how to make it softer or harder” got me killed 🤣🤣
I've never heard of a "REFLECTOR" being referred to as a "bounce board." Thanks for that. I really had a great laugh.:)

@@Tommy4k hello there I came across your UA-cam channel and I love the fact that your using the same studio strobes that I use Alien bees and your absolutely correct those lights will work forever and I’ve also got an Alien bee ABR800 ring light and that ring light is a beast and also a workhorse. Keep up the awesome amazing photography work, and also keep these informative video tutorials coming. Oh and I am also a Professional Photographer located in New Orleans. And now I am a fan of your and your model’s work. I just started following you and her on instagram. God bless you both. And you can find me on instagram @leonardmclendon
Solid tips brother! Thanks so much for sharing. Never thought of pointing at feet rather than head. Cheers!

Thank you for the info. More indoor videos
Hey can you do a video on what you did when you were a beginner photographer and didn’t have a studio? Where would you take your clients if they wanted an indoor shoot
yes I might do a Q&A because this is a good question
This would be really helpful! I am a boutique owner just starting out and I use areas inside my house for the photos. I need recommendations for lighting equipment (beginner)
Mary Chege I see you. Much love from Kenya. Of course I don't know you but your name is straight Kenyan ❤❤❤

"Imma show you how you can make it softer... Or harder.." bwahahahaha 😂😂😂 way to commit to finishing the statement. I still laugh at describing the "hardness" of light! 🤷🏾♂️

Is the link to the reverse umbrella for just the diffuser or the whole kit?
