HOW TO Get Your MIDDLE SPLITS Stretching Routine (Follow Along)- ALL LEVELS

- Hi yogis, thank you so much for joining me for today’s class! This week I will be guiding you through my favorite stretches that helped me get my MIDDLE SPLITS! I also forgot to include it in the intro but **this video does not include a warm-up. You can pair it with any of my flows (15 min feel good, daily morning beginner, etc) or your own! I know these stretches can be very challenging in the beginning but now is a good time to observe the sensations that arise when practicing these asanas (poses), welcome them & truly focus on your breathing going deeper into the stretch w every exhales. ALL LEVELS, No props needed only need to be close to a wall!

Have you ever thought about making a middle oversplits course for contortionists? I ask because your alignment technique seems like pretty much one of the best ones out there and I bet it’s at least part of why you managed to progress so quickly.

Yay glad you enjoyed it, I would suggest trying to do it maybe 2-3 times always listening to your body & not rushing. I’m filming a splits flexibility flow for next week ! Hope it helps!💓🤗✨

Great video! These streches really were quite challenging for me as I am probably one of the least flexible persons ever ^^. Seeing your progress pictures on instagram really pushed my motivation to further work on that. I'm looking forward to your next videos :)

Middle splits is just the absolute worst in terms of stretching pain xD. But you taught this class so well. I´m gonna do it every other day for a while additional to my usual routine. can´t wait to see results :).

Hi Mathilde, I love this one! Of course it was super hard for me because I am not flexible in middle splits or these stretches, but I plan to do this as often as I can. I was thinking every day and work on my other splits too with you. I would love to see where I am at the end of the year. My body is super grateful for the opening stretches! One day I shall be graceful :)

Thank you, I've been waiting for this since I saw your IG post about it since I'm working on my splits too! 💛 Do you have any tips on how to keep your bum as close to the wall as possible? (like in 29:20) I always find my back slides away when I do it. Also, can I ask where you got your sports bra and leggings from? The color is beautiful 🦋
Yay that makes me so happy, I would say make sure your core is engaged belly is pulling in and slowly let your legs lower to the side don’t rush it mine were really high at first. You can also kinda press your elbow down on the grown to help kinda push against to help keep/press your bum to the wall. Hope it helps! & the set is aerie! 🙏🏼💓

While doing middle split or straddle I get a discomfort on the sides (inner) of my knees. Is that because I overstretched them? And not so much a stretch somewhere else. Would love you to tell me what I can do better. Except from that issue I loved this class. Challenging!
Hi lovely, it could be from over stretching any sort of pain should be looked at seriously. First thing you always want to make sure to not over stretch is to stop when you feel a sensation. You should never feel pain when stretching, discomfort is normal but not pain. If it persist I would recommend talking to your doctor. Hope it helps 💕
Those stretches routines can be an everyday routine or we should alternate?
Hi, You can definitely do these daily but its always good to alternate so you can improve in other areas too. always listen to your body & do what feels best for you. I will keep posting videos so you guys can have a good variety! Hope it helps 💛

Hi, this video is good for all Levels but it does not include a warmup! So you can use any of my other flows or do some sun salutations ( whatever you prefer) before doing this one! Hope it helps 💜
