Love it when you do videos about Muay Thai. The main event was more a novelty fight to get a different audience in as Kota is popular with the females in Thailand and joker popular on social media. Daniel that beat Brad is Swiss and the current Raja/RWS Champion which is rare for a farang and undefeated now 40-0 which is even more rare in Muay Thai would be great to see a interview with him. 🙏
Good one Chris. As one of the 'early adopters' of Muay Thai in Canada (1985) I have seen the sport change enormously. There was a time when it was hard for foreigners to get into a fight camp. Now, while the sport originated in Thailand, it belongs to the World. According to legendary fighter Samart Payakaroon the foreigners are doing things right, and Fairtex ownter Philip Wong (Bujarakomwongs) warned recently 'watch out or the foreigners will overtake you" I'm with JO (Below comment) I loved the original Lumpinee. Koda had an 'interesting' way to try to negate the clinch, and the ref broke the clinch too quickly. Koda for the win.
The fact that the fight itself was only a show of heart versus true technique doesn't affect my likelihood of being in Rajadamnern again at some point in the near future. Absolute legendary spot to be. New Lumpinee is an experience too. The Wai Kru, the music.. There's nothing like it
i was in bangkok last week hoping to meet you but I had to fly home one day too early. I would say that the hotel that I stayed in was pretty close to your favourite park, benchakitti park. Because I lived in the Sukhumvit nana area.
i grew up about 10 minutes away from rajdamnern stadium and went all the time in the 80s and 90s. I haven't been since and this video was pretty shocking. the place is unrecognisable from the open-air, dingy, tradition-soaked, hardcore muay thai stadium that i remember. it actually looks like a fun and welcoming place now lol
Hi Chris, I'm a Thai person living in that area like It's a great video. hope you will visit Muay Thai at ONE in Lumpinee, sometimes in that place, is also great
Been in both Arenas many years ago. Old Lumpinee was my absolut favorite. Ben also couple of times in Rajadamnern Stadium but it was hard for me to figure out when there are good fights with many people and when not. Been there a few times with only a few visitors and this sucks. Love a full crowed Stadium and it is absolut amazing to watch the people and the gamblers etc. Any idea how to find out when it is worth to vistit and when not ?
I went to Rajadamnern watch boxing with my father towards the end of 80's to early 90's .The first place I went to look was the locker room. What I saw was not a boxer, I saw a warrior.
Kota is hardly a pro, was such a bad fight for him, mma take down attempts in Muay Thai 😅. Joker did well considering. The rest of the card was great, love the behind the scenes shots 🥊
Hey Chris! Love your videos! If you don’t mind me asking can you bring a camera to the Muay Thai stadiums? I would like to take a few photos of the fighters and I was wondering if I would be able to do that? Or how would I go about getting a pass to? Thanks in advance for your response 🙏🏽🇹🇭
I think the stadium provide win/lose odds for references but the real betting happens among spectators, ie you can bet or take bets while inside the stadium as the Thai laws allow that.
Great Video as always. I really love Rajadamnern Stadium but next time you should visit a really authentic Muay Thai promotion at Rajadamnern. Petchyindee or Phalungmai for example. There are real Muay Thai fights with 5 rounds and much more what makes the sport the most beautiful of the world. Sorry for all fans of RWS but I really don't like it.
Joker heart is great. Standing against well trained fighter until the end must be painful.
Your camera work is LIT!!
6:48 I almost shed the tears listening to BRAD. What a warrior and gentleman.
Wow ! I had no idea ! Fantastic video ! Thank you for this behind the scenes docuvlog. If that's not a word it should be. This was next level !
lol 😂 just ripped off my vlog from 2 months ago 😂
Wow Chris... and his team. A lot of work went into the production of this video. Well done.
วีดีโอที่ดีที่สุดของคุณเลยนะนี่ คริส ถ่ายทำได้ยอดเยี่ยมมากๆ ฉันอยากเห็นแบบนี้อีกในลุมพินี กับรายการ one lumpinee
I felt pain even by watching. I admire all the Muay Thai fighters. Kudos!!

As a martial arts lover and black belt student (Kung Fu & taekwondo) what a great video! Def will visit this venue on my next trip to Bangkok. 🥋

I really like this clip. So much fun. Thank you for showing me the 2023 era of Thai boxing.
Me too for me I like Thai Fight series more hardcore with no gloves just wrapped hands and no mma takedowns

First comment 🙌 Great video! 👏
Yes, a great venue. Every seat seems to be a good seat. A different vibe over Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.
When I saw that All Access card… I knew suddenly, with his respectful… he’s already has all access permission in our country.
Very surprised. When you are talking about MUAY THAI.
OMG I want to go there
เวที ราชดำเนินพัฒนาขึ้นมาก เมื่อต้อง แข่งขันกับ เวทีลุมพินี
A Muay Thai night is a must in BKK ! Step up an get the ring side seats! Try to make a wager to make the night more interesting!

Hi Chris!
This may be a unusual question, but how's the gunlaw in thailand and is the gunlaw more like the us or like germany, for example.
