It looks like the helper spring takes most of the energy
It's that little extra push to the ground
Correctly adjusted coilovers allow for droop so the tire is always contacting the ground. Helper springs ensure spring isn't flying around and breaking stuff. This is a well setup system, most people put on BCs or something and set preload so they have like zero droop and they ride like shit cause the wheels go in the air.
Yeah it's putting work it but so is that freaking BOV.

wheels are to wide needs larger offset Imo
its asking for trouble but I dont know about securing it to the coilover
toyota and hondas and nissans will have 1 anchor point on the brake hose
Mercedes / BMW will have 3 so brake hoses are more secure
@DuelistWave this has NO anchor points. Regardless of manufacturer this is completely custom and obvious
I have Installed dozens of these and they always have an anchor point
I paid for the whole coilover, im going to use the whole coilover.
Lovely drive but relocate brake hose mount its killing your tyre 👍

I have this suspension, wondering what the difference between putting the small spring on the top vs bottom. Mine came from KW with it on the top. But I have a couple sounds I'm chasing so wondering if I should try switching it? ty

a lot of people fully delete front sway bar when they do an angle kit; helps with angle and understeer , late reply but hope it helps

I have a 1993 sc400 it’s in 18x9.5 wheels wanna lowers it an 1.5in so the setup looks more cleaner on the car. What would be the best coilovers or lowering springs with hood struts

That tire gets pretty close to the brake line even with that much stretch is probably why..remember they have crazy angle also.
