I had tickets to see them open for Dave Hause in Boston on March 12, 2020 ... that show was my first to be cancelled due to COVID. If they play another gig anytime soon anywhere on planet earth, I'd seriously consider flying out for it.

Was that the Souls "Home for the Holidays" show in (I think) 2011? The show when they, like, ACTUALLY released Bury Me Standing? If so, I was there too! I'm from Boston, and the second we found out The Explosion was playing, some buds and I all bought tickets and made the drive down. The Bouncing Souls were (and remain) one of my favorite bands of all time. And theyt were amazing at that show. But after seeing The Explosion, I absolutely did not care about watching the Souls. I mean the fucking Clash could have gone on after The Explosion and I probably wouldn't have cared. They fucking BROUGHT IT.
i just started to really listen to this band closely, i have there ep, i saw them Open for Dillinger 4 at brownies a lifetime ago, but it didnt stick into my playlist, but i found the cd and not i cant stop playing it, i have there LP somewhere ill check out too. but i dig it more now than i did.
I love the first record, played it constant on the 2001 MAYHEM tour as we drove across the country. Never saw em live, this is the original band is it? A different singer?
