There are so many wonderful things we could say about this video,I would be leaving a big like in this comments section. Really I enjoyed watching it. Sending my full support to your videos. Just keep on vlogging. Have a nice day🌹🇨🇦😊
This is just fascinating! Jordan is in our to-do for next year and 100% we will be rewatching this a lot! We thought originally just Petra but Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea are a must now too!
There is really so much more to do that we missed! I had the same thought when I initially booked then flights then we were scrambling to squeeze it all in!
I enjoyed traveling on this wonderful adventure virtually. So many beautiful places and amazing views. Loved the very informative nice narration and the Memories Aicha luxury camp. Have a great day my friends.
Yes! this is the best 3 day highlight tour of Jordan. Very informative, and itinerary and activities were well narrated. thank you so much, from your new subscriber here.
It was definitely busy! We honestly had no idea just how much there was to do in Jordan until after we booked our flights so then we had to scramble to really squeeze as much as we could in. It was an amazing sunrise 🤩
We loved your videos from Jordan! As I'm sure I mentioned in your Petra we would have taken the camels! Enjoyed your video from Jordan and are looking forward to seeing you back on the road in Italy soon. Thanks for bringing us along!
We really enjoyed it! This video is the end of that era but we’re so excited to start putting out our Italy vlogs next week!! Thanks for following along Dave and Kathy!
It’s really so cool-something we didn’t know is that you can basically float around in it year round. Something about the land around it since it’s the lowest place on earth traps the heat so we floated in December and it was lovely!
I have always wanted to see Petra, perhaps I will get there someday! I have not heard of Wadi Rum, before but that looks like a very cool area also. And the Marriot that you stayed at on the Dead Sea looked lovely. New friend is joining you. Great vlog!! Take care. 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing your experience in Jordan! We’re also planning to visit Jordan next month! Your videos will be very helpful. Just curious, how was your overall experience driving around the places? Was it safe? I assume you didn’t hire any guide
We did not hire a guide! We rented a car ourselves and navigation was easy with google maps. We felt very safe driving around at the end of 2021, lots of police check points on the road but they were friendly!
Shockingly easy!! We reserved ahead of time and just picked up at the airport when we landed-the counter is right at the exit of the Amman airport. You will pass through a number of police check points but they are quick and easy (usually just a passport check). Driving was very easy on the highways and parking very accessible in the towns. Just be vigilant of the speed bumps-they come up quick!
Oh my goodness what a trip! The architecture in the mountains/rocks was incredible, the dessert must have been a magical experience and the culture seems so vibrant. This was also very well filmed and edited. New friend and supporter here!
OK, now we want to go to Jordan! We've seen others videos, and though they were interesting, your video gave so much more information! Now I Debbie am excited to put this on our must go place! Are you in Italy now? We would love to meet up with you guys sometime somewhere. Happy travels and stay safe Debbie and Stijn
Hi Debbie, thanks so much for these kind words-this is the best compliment we could ask for to inspire someone’s future travels. Unfortunately we got home from Italy a week ago, but would love to stay in touch with you guys!!
You will have an absolutely wonderful time!! We don't keeping up with UA-cam is already enough for us--but feel free to drop any comments here and we will get back to you 🙂
An useful and mutually enjoyable vlog. By the way did you stay over night in Marriott ? What time did you checkin and what was it like until you headed out to airport (which one) to fly back ?
We stayed at two Marriott properties during our stay! The first being the Marriott in Petra (Wadi Musa) and the second being the Marriott Dead Sea resort and spa. Both properties were great and had good dining options. We flew in and out of the Queen Alia International airport (AMM) on Royal Jordanian.
It was a lot - but so worth it! We are going to visit Venice, Florence, Cinque Terra, Rome, and spend some time in the Emilia-Romagna Region of Italy! We will be posting vlogs throughout our Italy adventures 🤠
Hi Jen 👋🏼 We did it online ahead of time by getting the Jordan Pass! It covers your tourist visa as well as entry into Petra, Wadi Rum, and a bunch of other attractions. It made it super quick at the airport! Here is the link: www.jordanpass.jo Hope this helps!
This was in January, so at the height of Omicron they were requiring everyone regardless of vaccination status to PCR test 72 hours before departure and on arrival! To be honest it was pretty stressful and Garret still managed to get COVID and get quarantined in Istanbul 🫣 Thanks for watching and for the encouragement!! 🙂
We are planning on doing Jordan/Egypt this year with 4 nights in each. Is it that bad driving at night in Jordan? We don’t plan on driving in Amman just from airport to the 3 locations you mentioned. Also is 2 full days at Petra to much?
The main highways are totally fine but the side roads are not lit! Luckily 95% of the driving between these locations is major highway. Two days is probably good-really we feel like a day and a half would be perfect. Looking back, we really crammed a lot into one day!
@@explorinwithlaurin thanks for the info on driving!! Yes we are going to do all three plan on doing a full wadi rum day tour, 2 days at Petra, and half day at Dead Sea before flying to Cairo. May do a day and a half at Petra so we can do Dead Sea and madaba.
@@nathanstepp86 based on our experience that sounds like the perfect plan for Jordan! Wishing you the best time! Let us know if you have any other questions! We’ve never been to Egypt so we might be coming to you for tips next 😃
Jordan 🇯🇴 was everything we could of ever imagined and more! Italy is next on our list - Where do you want to see us go next?! Comment down below!
