- We made the trek from Wadi Musa to Wadi Rum to spend the night in a panoramic bubble in the middle of the south Jordanian Desert, to take in breathtaking views!

About Us:
We are Garret and Lauren, two newly weds living in Texas. After buying a house and getting married in early 2021, we decided to spend the first three years of marriage traveling to 30 new locations before we turn 30 in the summer of 2024! We plan to share our new adventures as well as reflect on some of our past travels through this vlog channel, and hope that you will follow along with us!

Loved your tour of Wadi Rum Garret and Lauren. Just stunning rock formations and views. Also loved the way you rough it in the bubbles! A Hookah isn't for everyone. We came of age in the 1960's and can think of only one good reason to use one! We enjoyed your camel ride. Looking forward to catching up with you at the Dead Sea! We loved your video.

Awe, totally want to head that way just to see Andy wear the headwrap! Nice of the guy to help you out. Absolutely love the colorful decor in your bubble. It must all feel so surreal. haha yes like you said.. like Mars! Wow, that lounge for after dinner looks like a super sweet spot to hang out. Riding a camel seems like the perfect way to end that experience.
It really was a super cool experience! It was our first time in the Middle East so we really drank up all the tourist stuff 😂 We were such easy targets for the headscarves but everyone is wearing them so we didn’t feel like we stuck out! If you make it out that way, we will be on the look out for a vlog with Andy in the head wrap!! Cheers!

Does the hotel include dinner and breakfast? Or is it the tour package that provide dinner?
The stay at the hotel included dinner and breakfast in the room rate! They also arrange the tour for you so we basically did our tour on our way to the “camp”!
I hope that everyone who visits Jordan will enjoy the tourist places, as they are really beautiful and worth a visit. I would like to warn you not to rent a car from a🚫((green motion )) 🚫🚫 company .it was pad experiance with them in app you will find cheapest price between other rental cars companies .but for any minor scratch they will take huge amount of mony more than rental car price for all priod.Advice, no one rents with them because they are swindlers and fraudsters, and the car is not the same, and there is no fire extinguisher in it. I got a fine from the police because of the fire extinguisher, and the reason is from the rental office, but I was surprised that it was on me.

This was December 2021!!! It was pretty cold at night but warmer during the day when the sun was out 🌡

Thank you for watching! We were often reminded of the geography in Utah while we were out there but I’ve never seen anything quite like this outside of Wadi Rum!
Were you in Jordan during the winter (Dec-Jan)? Wondering how the weather was and what kind of clothing should one pack? Many thanks.
Hi Arya! Apologies for the late reply! We did go over the new year-this vlog was December 30-31! The annoying answer is that you’ll need layers! It’s freezing in the morning (sweater and a jacket in the morning is necessary in wadi rum) but in the afternoon we were hiking around in a tshirt. In the dessert remember everything will be sandy so stick to active wear/hiking gear and definitely you hiking boots! Packing for this trip was definitely interesting-the morning of December 31st I was on a camel wearing 3 layers and by the afternoon I was floating in the Dead Sea in a swimsuit! Hope this helps-let us know if you have any other questions!!

Does the transport allows 2 checked luggage and 2 handluggage?
We each had a backpack and a smaller rolling bag - we recommend you contact the specific operator when booking to clarify. They all had slightly different policies.

We are thinking of visiting Wadi Rum in late December. Was wondering how cold is it at that time of the year?
Hi 👋 - in December it seems to be cold at night 30-40 Fahrenheit and warmer during the day (highs around 60 Fahrenheit). Make sure to pack layers to account for the cold and warm weather!

So funny you say that-We found ourselves comparing parts of Jordan to Utah often!! Garret was obsessed with calling out every time he saw a camel eat another camel’s poop 🙄 but it was such an awesome experience 🐫
