first off this is not a restoration. You restore antique furniture and Vintage cars and keep them as close to original as possible. If this was restored this fool would have used red paint that matched the original paint this is a tool you repair tools and make them usable again. Also he painted over all the Id labels on the front cover instead of cleaning and covering the ID information with clear paint or what ever so you could see what it was. it was not restored to red and black.

What a poor Stone Age construction this is! The thing could have been built better and much easier and faster with any slightly modified computer power supply from the junkyard. The voltage is unregulated and no shutdown at the end of charging, the thing is a real battery cooker that cooks expensive batteries to scrap. No fuses and no connection to the grounding could send you to heaven with this.

Im guessing your 20 or less and this charger is twice as old as you are. a computer chipped charger automatic charger is not better bcause most of them will not charge a battery that is too below a certain voltage. IE about 10 v . Old chargers will turn on and start charging then you will find out of the wet cell battery is save able. Of course you know that because you know everything.

@@surfernorm6360 You have no idea yourself how lead-acid batteries need to be charged properly. The charging current must be limited, and first, you charge up to around 14.4 V. Then, it starts to gas and will get damaged if it's charged for too long. After that, it needs to be reduced to around 13.6 V and kept there. The kind of junk he built is something elementary school kids might do, and they’d probably get themselves killed in the process.
