The most mind blowing ironic thing is, Alastair was stopped twice for drink driving and the 2nd time (I don't understand why not the 1st time, unless because he was pretty famous), in 2003, he received a 23 month ban and a hefty £3,000 fine! He had a single car accident (thank fook he didn't injure or kill someone) in that instance (he was not injured). You would think that if ANYONE would know bloody better, it's himself. He had this show from the mid 1990s but, after that 2nd drink driving incident he was removed from this show and replaced. He however is still employed by ITV (39 yrs and counting) as their main News Anchor...amongst other duties. He should have been made to travel the Country giving talks on the dangers and stupidity of drink driving. Thankfully he didn't cause anyone harm (including himself), or much worse. SMBH
They do not use a bed of nails on Stingers lol. That would cause, quite possibly, dangerous blowouts. The Stingers are equipped with sharpened hollow tubes that break off in the tire(s), releasing air nice and slow as to not cause accidents. Of course there are the numpties that continue to drive, often down to the rims, that then become a danger.
It was probably a 2.5 v6, they can do over 140mph. I used to have a 3.2 GSi years ago capable of over 150mph (not that I ever did that sort of speed in it, I just loved the sound of the engine).
Eastern London Road, off macduff street, the officer says it. No idea about the second chase though, if the video was clearer you could possibly read the destination on the bus.
These police camera action programmes were my favourite as a kid
Me too
Another great episode! The dog was a fast runner 😀

The red Rover at 1:28 hasn't been taxed since 2000.
A vectra did 139mph?!

Anyone know where abouts in Glasgow that pursuit happened?
