This has been the best week for Dragon Ball fans
One thing i really love about the lore drops is that they say that Earth Dragon balls were created with white magic meaning the dragon won't grant wishes that causes harm to another person. It completely kills the idea of using the dragon balls to kill the saiyans. I love it so much, this show is about to be peak!
One interesting thing is that they bring up the tamagami as creations of Neva, similar to how DKP created his own minions like Tambourine and Drum.
Gotta say as an aspiring content creator who hates when their family is home so I can’t be as authentic as I want to be in my videos, that convo hit close to home. 😂
31:50 that whole bit there they mentioned which Universe and they said 7 so that is already a Super tie in sorta can't believe these two missed that part.
With Sparking Zero out and Daima off to a great start, we're in a great spot with this franchise.
Don’t forget that Fused Kibito Kai exists at the start of Super so they would somehow have to fuse again in order for it to bridge into Super

I love that they reanimated all the best parts of the Buu Saga. It was freaking gorgeous. Also Namekians are Demons once more, all is right with the world. Universe 7 was mentioned so it keeps in line with the lore learned in super. Anyone else surprised that Shin has siblings? Oh also when Neva gathered the dragon balls to him and then turned them back from being stone, was I the only one who thought "Ok they need to teach Dende that one."?

I'm pretty sure DKP and Jr being "demons" originally wasn't referring to being literally from the demon realm but rather the Demon Clan. Working it into being a Namekian thing is more recent I thought?

The Majin Vegeta scene, animated by the goat, Naotoshi Shida, was perfect. Getting Naotoshi to animate so much of it too, was awesome!

honestly if any movie charcter would be retconned and fit pretty well as a final boss in this show it would be janemba or with this namekien being a lord slug retcon imo
i pretty sure i saw somewhere that vegeta and piccolo might be the other main cast with them being a dynamic duo in this show so idk how well dotos bet going to hold up lol
It’s a year after buu since trunks is 9 years old and when we see trunks in the buu arc was eight years old. Super takes 4 years
37:40 I think that’s my biggest worry with Daima, it just being another Goku centric story. So I’ll put my nuts on the table and say Vegeta is a supporting character the entire show

Amazing first episode! Loved the humor and exploring the demon realm with the new characters. Truly with Sparking and Daima now both being out it feels like dragon ball is back!

Something many people don't know but Super takes place 4 years after the defeat of Kid Buu so Daima doesn't interfere with its timeline at all. Only contradiction is Kibitoshin defusing already before the U6 arc. But that can be fixed with them fusing again at the end of the show and i know people will say "well why not use Buu again to defuse" they'll probably address that or just act like it never happened tbh.
I'm with Doto on this we ain't getting any Vegetas in this. Written by Toriyama, Toriyama doesn't like Vegeta
yea the splitting of the fusion confused me because I thought they stated in super they used the dragon balls to split themselves back into shin and kibito

A lot of the promo stuff for daima featured mini vegeta and piccolo so I feel like they are going to go on their own side quest while goku is in the demon realm

Spoilers: It's peak.
So about these siblings, i think they are Makaioshins (evil Supreme Kais) they were only talked about in old interviews and in a guidebook. They grow from the same tree that all the kai's are born from (yes Kai's are born from a tree). So my guess is they probably are born from the same branch as Shin but their "fruits" were born evil which is why Shin is a good guy while these 2 are evil ones. But i hope the show goes into detail about all of this and it probably will since Shin is the second main protagonist of the series.
I feel like the final boss could be a Janemba type transformation with the goofy demon king transforming to our big bad with the Supreme Demon King item they mentioning getting w a wish

Is Daima really canon? because in episode 1 of DB Super Shin and Kibito are still fused. I also think Shin mentioned that it was Whis that helped them seperate. I have heard Daima was cannon, but this just dosn't add up
Either a retcon, or they’re gonna have to fuse again for a big fight later and they stay fused for some reason till super
one small thing that i noticed its not a big deal but kibito and shin were still fused when goku and beerus fought and were only defused sometime right before the universe 6 tournament where they tell goku they defused using dragon balls instead so a little bit of a super continuity break

The only problem I have is that we have to retcon the first 3 arcs for super since the supreme Kai was fused
@nicholasmarquez3399 But didn't they already bring up that Goku faced Jiren in the first episode? Which means it's already passed the tournament of power, where Shin already infused, they just changed the way they did it.

@@Vice_Verse0 for Daima no they only focused on Goku backstory and the main villains for z then they focused on buu cause they are focusing on the demon realm
In the original manga it’s stated by Goku that the “Air” in Buu is heavy and uncomfortable, and then right after they let their barrier down, they unfuse. It actually fixes the retcon from Super BACK to making sense with Z again
It doesn't "fix" the retcon. Potara fusions without a supreme kai involved still last an hour. Daima just confirmed that Buu can also defuse a Potara fusion.
There was no retcon, you just got more information.
Both ways of defusing are still valid
@@TemujinTheKhan When I said “fix” I mean it changed it back to the original, more inline with the manga, explanation. And as far as I’m concerned, Daima could take place in a different continuity so you never know 🤷

@@TemujinTheKhan “Super” Bardock is actually from Jaco the Galactic Patrol, another Toriyama penned Manga. I watched the episode, and I don’t think the term “Universe 7” is stated once. Not only that, but Toriyama’s original design of the world was just Otherworld, Universe, and Demon Realm. That seems to be the implication here. Also, if it was a continuation that would mean Kabito and Shin NEED to refuse by the end of the series, and SPECIFICALLY with the potara AGAIN. Something that they had reversed on purpose, they would have to do again WILLINGLY in order to fuse again. Unless someone forcefully fuses them back together which, why would they?

Beerus shows up after a 4 year time skip. The first couple of Super episodes take place before it.

Here is what is going to happen and Dokkan gave it away. The new wallpaper has 3 worlds in the background and there are 3 dragon balls in the demon realms. One of the balls in each realm guarded by the big machine warriors.
