This album took the longest to grow on me. Most Coldplay albums I immediately fall in love with. The more I listen to it, the more I love it. It makes me sad, but in the greatest way.

Beautifully rendered and melancholic. It is an exploration of our capacity for unconditional love after suffering a great loss hence the name "Ghost stories", the ghost of our past ruining our life and dragging us down but these songs simply tells us to embrace the loss, recognize that they have influenced our present and will always influence our future.
O (Fly on) is basically the most heart crushing goodbye to that loved one, it breaks me. Can't hear that song without crying.

The production and mixing of this album is insane, so deep and atmospheric. Best tracks: Ink, Another's Arms, A Sky Full of Stars (although I prefer the longer version of Stars).
