Family issues, title challenges and Sellers not really having legal title are major hurdles to sort out. It is a small Country and land is a limited resource. You should be promoting land ownership for Rwandans. Their land is becoming unobtainable due to skyrocketing prices. The People need their land!
On one hand I agree the land should be for Rwandans. On the other hand there is such a severe housing shortage for the lower class who can not dream of building. If you’re an ethical investor you can buy and target the lower class instead of trying to maximize profit.

There are always great opportunities in Africa for anybody with lots of money especially our oppressors(mzungus) and their copycats(yellow mzungus). We need to come together to address the issue of citizenship. The people who are there doing well must deal with that issue. Not all diaspora have money to lease land in our motherland or can marry a local. If I was not married already, I would have that option available. Presently I am looking into import. I am looking for African countries who wants diasporas back like Ghana. My dna test will soon let me know my roots. It great to look at great opportunities but citizenship must go hand in hand with it. I do not want to be 2nd class citizen in my motherland which is the way African countries are treating us now.

The probably is that Africa does not allow African diaspora to own land. It's no different than leasing property or land in America for 49 years, and during that time make improvements or develop the land, then have the owner not renew your lease. Africa should allow African Descendents of Slaves (ADOS) to own land in Africa.

I have been researching Africa for three years now and have several African friends here in the U.S. who thought I was crazy for even considering repatriating to Africa, and several Black American friends who relocated to Africa and returned, as well as several who are still on the continent. Black Americans are not treated well on the continent of Africa period. I have a friend who was recently murdered (poisoned) in Ghana after purchasing (leasing) six plots of land and building a house, she was only a few weeks from moving in. She left America saying she was escaping Babylon and unfortunately was murdered in the place she thought would be better and spoke so highly of.
