Im fully vaccinated in Puerto Rico and traveling soon to St. Croix. Do I need to get tested before going to USVI if I'm traveling from Puerto Rico? I checked the USVI Government website but only mention the US Mainland.
We just went to a wedding on the 7th of may. There werent any restrictions with djs on the beach, only a limited capacity of 100 as guests and no mask during wedding
I hope you still had fun. That is why I started making these videos, I'd see people coming the beaches right when they were closing and they had no idea. I wish I would have started making these sooner for people.
USVI is over rated. Lived there for a few years and it wasn't fun. It kinda sucked for so many ways. I moved back to Hawaii and that's where one should visit if they want to visit paradise.
You realize it’s been proven the vaccine is not 100% effective right? Literally know people who had it and still got covid and it doesn’t help the dna mutates.. hence the muted viruses
Hi Thanks for the valuable information. I received my negative PCR results today and did my best to complete the USVI portal form. If it’s not completed correctly or doesn’t come back in time, can I still fly to St Thomas and will the authorities at the St Thomas airport help me? Thank you
We rented a car but were the for a month. Be sure to check out all the details because there are several restrictions when renting a vechical. I can highly recommend Lional Jeep Rental. We were treated over the top and even got a 2019 Jeep Compass. The public transportation is open air and you have to be aware of the run times and last run. The beaches all have parking if you rent a car. We would often stay after dark to watch the sunsets from the Beach.
uhhh bc they don’t know everything about this virus and like these vaccines have already shown they are fully effective on all the mutations...as they say keep taking precautions
Glad you're making these update videos. Not coming back until they come off the mask restrictions. Came down 4 times in 2019 and even there for new years on 2020. Absolutely fell in love and breaks my heart to see them being so over the top with restrictions.
It's not that bad here. Puerto Rico is really over the top with the restrictions. But nothing like Florida. Thanks for watching. I wish I would have started doing this last year.
The USVI is cautious, because we are alone, a close community and these are small islands, so there’s no place to go if COVID had actually consumed the islands. With all those tourists coming into a small community, the USVI has to be extra careful. Fortunately it has worked. My mom and family still live there, so I appreciate the precautions.
It’s good to hear that they’re taking care of their own families and communities. They don’t exist to please tourists, but their caution actually makes it better for future visitors.
Thanks for the update - sounds much eaiser then when we went last August. Also, finally gewtting my St John video’s done. Uploaded the first of many today. It’s a simple one as I used it to learn a new editing soft (DR). Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think….and be honest. LOL
Anytime you land in STT they require a test or you sign a paper that says you will quarantine for either 10 or 14 days (I can't remember how long now).
To what are you referring? We have restrictions in the states, as well. Perhaps they are a bit smarter, on the islands; they’re handling things much better.
@@genevadixon8426 imagine is a state setup a check point at their state's line and made everyone coming into that state stop, produce papers showing the were Covid-19 negative (or pick any other illness.) This is a serious violation of Constitutional rights Americans have to travel within the US and its territories. Not to mention it violates all sorts of federal HIPAA laws by demanding people produce their private medical information. Again....highly illegal and unconstitutional to say the least.

Ha, I was just making light of the actual rule that says "no amplified music on the beaches". I think it is ridiculous that they would make a rule about how loud your music is to help prevent the spread of covid.
Thank you for your insight! Do I need a covid test to return to the states?
New video coming out today.
? Any places on STT where you can fish from Shore... jetty, pier?
I'm going to do a video on this. I was a fisherman before I moved here. And the short answer is... not really. But, there are a few places.
Hello question . Is the Abbott at home covid test eligible?
I don't know what that is, sorry.
Check if there’s any email on their site. Guessing it would have to be from the lab directly but who knows
I will be traveling to St Thomas this month from the mainland. Will I be required to quarantine upon arrival?
They will ask you to if you don't have a test.
@@How2Beach thank you!
Is there any talk that you’ve heard of of requiring vaccines there in the future?
Not yet. But, I think it will become a requirement to travel anywhere at some point.
@@How2Beach thanks for the reply!
What kind of ID do you need to travel back to US mainland?
You are just supposed to need an id. But, I always use a passport.

If you’re fully vaccinated do you have to test to return back to the US mainland?
That depends on the state you are returning to. But, probably not.
New York. Thanks
Do you have to take test before you leave st Thomas back to U .S.
no
Do they require a vaccine in USVI? Also, do you need to test when coming back to the U.S.?
No vaccine required. It depends on where you are going in the US.
Do you need to upload your COVID-19 test result?
This is crazy sh*t. Who wants to go to a place for vacation that's more restrictive than where you are coming from.
thank you, we’re going 1st week of july
do you know how many days do we need to get swab before flying to st thomas? Thank you

Hi there, do you know if you are considered fully vaccinated according to the CDC do you still need a test?
Yes.
If I have the vaccine, I still need to take a covid test?
The official narrative is yes.

According to the last update on May 10th they say you still need a test.
@@How2Beach any updates in june?
