If you do it right, you will be at +10 or +11 (with HK) if they block it. The possible routes on hit are also pretty good.

I see. I just mash HP after the second stomp and never thought much about its timing. Interesting to know that if you delay it, it drops.

Juggling M lightning kicks after EX SBK then jumping is also a safe jump set up.
Just to note it's not safe against 5f DPs unfortunately.

@@soulwarrior5791 Luke, Juri, Cammy, Ryu, Guile, Ken, and Chun-Li. All but Juri are the light version of their respective anti air special so they pretty much have to know the setup to beat it.

What about L Lightning Kicks?
Saw this set up by Valemaster, but was hit with it myself a few times also. Problem I had is after knocking them down do I just hold up forward and hit HK as deep as possible? Sometimes the jump in whiffs. Is it because I hit HK to early?
Both yes. Hold uf to jump as early as possible after the sequence, and gotta hit that j.HK deep.
What you mentioned happened to me a few times in practice mode when I was first learning it, but I can't remember what was causing it. It was either second stomp being too late, or me not realising I wasnt close enough to the wall when they back rolled.
You can get the same setup off od sbk in the corner, but you've gotta hit 2mk practically the exact moment you leave the ground. It's way tighter than stance hk or sa2.
I land the heavy kick about 20% of the time, the remaining 80% I get thrown

Timing on the jump in can be awkward, indeed. Gotta do it about when you reach head level.
Just practicing it a little bith should help. From time to time I forget the timing as well and a few minutes in practice mode help me.

I delay the second mk and mash the heavy punch target combo but the second heavy punch is not coming out at all

I usually just lose then. And often to Zangief. He just has to land 3 punishes to a 98% perfect chun li lol

Use mk to do safe jump instead of hk in the middle screen my Chunli main friends.
