This is such a beautiful, inspiring, and yet sad story. The Curly's were incredible entrepreneurs. It saddens me that the ugly stain of racism played a part in the demise of the great legacy . I believe the building was sold in 2023, I hope it has been labeled as a historic landmark so it cannot be destroyed.
Yeah sad that this has been covered up and not talked about for SO LONG! I guess these people decided to mention Oklahoma since they heard that Tulsa 1921 Greenwood survivors testified against the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!!
