It supports all of the ssd but before you put it or install it you supposed to copy or move all of the file from your old ssd to your new and the ssd is supposed to be 2.5 inch

By default there isn't a dvd ROM or cable in the laptop You would need to also by the odd daughter board to connect the HDD caddy too I don't think heat would really be an issue running two drives

no sorry i highly doubt it would change much i find even a Celeron with 16GB of Ram and Decent Brand of SSD doesn't really change much at all compared to a Standard hard Drive and 2-4GB of Ram
