I think the lock in with interest rates only applies to places that dont have high new construction because places like FL and TX have people listing houses with low interest rates

Didn’t the Redfin guy just claim “sellers are hurting to list in 25’” or some other junk to that effect? Yet another says, new build cos are holding near record inventory. I’d guess “near record” reported!

MND shows 7.1% for 30 Y on Jan 6. Hopefully, that # will decrease by 100 BP by end of 25. ??? We'll see.....................
100bps would be big drop. Fannie Mae's forecast is calling for rates to only decrease by 40bps. Who knows though... a lot could change.
