    • @PolishwithDorota

      It might be challenging, I know. That's why it's good to make a learning plan or - even better - to learn with a professional teacher.

    WE WTOREK IDĘ DO KINA.
    cinema is kino, right? Why they change to "kina"? Please tell me😀. thankyou, teacher!

    • @PolishwithDorota
      @PolishwithDorota  22 дні тому

      Yes, "kino" is cinema. This is a basic form of the word, so called nominative case. After "do" nouns require to be used in another form, so called genetive case. When it comes to the words that end in -o (neuter gender nouns), they drop the ending -o and take the ending -a:
      Kino - Idę do kina (I'm going to the cinema)
      Okno - Podchodzę do okna (I'm coming closer to the window)
      Piwo - To jest kufel do piwa (lit. This is a glass for beer - This is a beer glass).
      Please watch my video where I explain why we change some words in Polish: ua-cam.com/video/AD_VX2IIznU/v-deo.html

    The white names on the blue background are difficult to read. A darker color for names would be very helpful.

      @@andreas2494 yeah but also for beginner you can make content entirely in the target language. In my opinion most of her other videos are great material for beginners.

      She is uploading now consistently on a weekly basis , a lesson completely in polish and adding english subtitles to it will take a lot more work , this is more efficient .

    it's challenging to pronounce the words😂

    • @PolishwithDorota
      @PolishwithDorota  17 годин тому

      It's a matter of practice. Your mouth and tongue have to get used to new positions. It's just like in the gym - first it's hard but more you train, the easiest it gets!
