Jordy that birch wood looks so smooth? The copper roof will be loud for the little ones, kind of like living in a trailer house. When we were a young family the hard rain made you turn the TV sound up some so you could hear it! 🥴👂👂HUH LOL it didn’t bother me much as the noise made it easier for me to fall asleep at night. Burn job actually should help keep the bugs away from Papa and Moma bird. It does take time but it’s a good looking house 🏠

Super good tip about the little stick outside the door of the Bird house leading predators in at the eggs. Amazing thank you!

Great little birdhouse. I love the copper roof. I like to incorporate copper to my carvings, just done an elephant with copper tusks for the kindred spirit challenge.
Just to let you know, birds don't pee they do a poop sack that has poop and pee in it. The white in the sack is the pee, and the brown is the poop. The parents dispose of it away from the nest.....❤

That looks really nice Jordi one thing though make sure you have a Lotta air holes. The copper will heat. The hose up too much when the sun hits it

Better to find old used fence boards as the wood is older growth and better and dry :)

    Hello Jordy
    Joli nichoir ,

Hi Jordy, I work nights and I should be sleeping but I saw your video and “ I don’t care” ! I had to stay up and watch it. I’m collecting boards from a neighbors old barn that no one wants to tear down. So I’ll have a lot for birdhouses and other projects. Fantastic birdhouse. I have a lot of Wrens and bluebirds. Keep on carving!

@RoysTimberArtTechniques-mv6gt I feel the same way, Roy! But I'm going to start carving soon, right now I'm making some 'Jordy style' wind spinners! And I got some copper too to make copper roofs on my cat castles I'm going to make, if the weather ever straightens up!
