You shouldn't have to wait for new episodes to create animations! Go back to season 1 and animate all the best parts like this! :D Or, you could even animate individual series from each channel like Tom's Minecraft Project.

Is having the directional lighting look as if it's severely overexposed/too bright a purely stylistic choice? The sand transforming into a white-hot ocean gets in the way of the visuals, in my opinion.
I don't remember what episode this was, but can you animate when Tom and tucker went to enchant bows, and they got horrible enchants, then blew them up? I'd love to see more s1 animations as well :-)
