For me, "Moment of Truth" is the best Gang Starr album (and it's really HARD to put this one in font of the others, given the fact that there's no single bad album in their discography) IDK, everything is just right where it's supposed to be with this one and Guru and Premier absolutely perfected and mastered their skills up to that point. And the fact that it came out in 1998, when hip hip was not nearly as strong as it used to be just makes it even more valuable. One of the few beacons of light to follow in the dark of the perishing hip hop scene of late 90's.
These were the days.. The ruffest but timeless at the same time.. Every one was out side , figuring life out , a broken generation bonded thru hip-hop and the struggle ✊✨😎✅

Being a person that really enjoys good instrumental arrangements, and with rock being my favorite style, Gang Starr has always amazed me. Their flow is phenomenal. Premier is one of the best at his craft, and Guru is an excellent combination for him, with his cool voice and awesome rhymes. This song always stuck with me. Beautiful. R.I.P Guru.
