I never expected someone to portray Ei's backstory like this, but boy does it fit well and look extremely well! We need more things like this for other characters too
The art looks incredible! And I'm surprised by how well this mash-up actually fits together, if you think about it. Ai who has never felt love, wanting to get to a point where she can tell her children "I love you" without being afraid of it being a lie - and Ei, having lost any feelings of love, and now seeking to find once again the ability to truly express love for her nation, without it feeling like a lie.
I love that instead of replacing characters from the anime with genshin characters you changed the plot to suit the story in game with Ei trying to find her sisters killer while replacing her as an idol its so interesting 😍 Also question: is the killer shown actually Dainslef? 🤔

I think in this case, if we’re following both Genshin and Oshi no Ko plot merge together. Makoto is an idol, while Ei is a shut in or helps her sister behinds the scene. Makoto then gets killed by a lunatic fan, with Ei seeing it all unfold. To follow the GI plot, Ei tooks on Makoto’s identity with her stage name. Making the twin who died was Ei not Makoto. Then in OnK, Ei while performing to live her sister’s dream, does so while getting revenge.
The characters, Ai and Baal, are actually so similar. Ai and Makoto dies leaving Ruby (kinda not Aqua) and Ei to be an idol or archon without them. This is amazing! 😮
Tbh, I was expecting yae miko to be Ruby and Aqua to be wanderer, just becs they both have an friendly relationship with Ei(I mean scara doesn't but this is an alternative univers) also becs hair colour, duh

Man the plot just make sense, i really want to see it as a series. Ei being the Archon/Idol and become the beacon of hope, people's savior in respective case. While Makoto died presumably because of her softness to human/fan might as well be parallel.

i know its different, but that also would be a really good theme: Makoto and Ei being twins and one of them (Makoto) decides to become an idol of a group, but she is murdered just like Ai Motivated by revenge (like Aqua), Ei decides to practice and work hard to follow her steps without her crowd notice The trama would be around her loss, the pressure of keeping this secret, her career as a new idol and lying to the others
The second I saw Ei and Makoto I new what was about to happen also the art is amazing if this was a animay I would watch it it would be cool if you mad a sorta part 2 or somthing.
