How to add 2 hard drives in your laptop and expand storage (USE SSD AND HDD TOGETHER IN A LAPTOP)

Hi,
Today we are going to add a second hard drive in a Asus F540y. The place that is meant for the dvd-rom drive is not suitable, there is the connector but is has a series of plastic pins that physically doesn't let you place the HDD Adapter.
We are going to remove those pins in order to place the adapter and see if that works.

Hello. I am thinking to do the same thing as you. I am think to cut those thins too... but I wonder, I have question: After you put everything back together, does the keyboard feel stable? Does it wobble?

don't even bother installing an second HDD/SSD if you have an INTEL CELERON/PENTIUM / AMD-E2 CPU those things are garbage anyway....
