For out of the box rtr with brushless and an actual decent servo. It’s a great value for sure especially under $500. Everything else in its category is $500+ and they all come with crappy throw away electronics. This thing for $460 has great electronics right out of the box. It’s amazing what fms is putting out now a days. I definitely want one of these now. Just need to wait for a different color body.

awesome trail running footage ! it is so cool that you can share your hobby with your son . i like the features of this chassis , the body is not my cup of tea though . i would rather it have an old school american truck body , preferably a mid 70s dodge . but that is just my tastes . thanks for posting .
I would not say its overpriced, a TRX4 is more and is a brushed setup. This truck looks really good but has given me a problem. I want to upgrade from a TRX4m to a 1/10. My choices were a TRX4 defender or a TRX6, but now I have to add this to the list!! Thanks for the video, it’s another informative and entertaining watch. It’s certainly given me something to think about!
There are a lot of trucks in the class. RC4WD drive trucks with the K44 front axle are also great to have. Look awesome. The Mashigan looks great too. The landcrusier hardbody. So many choices in 10th.
I really like this rig brother its super nice and well tbh is there another rock crawler in the market right now that comes stock with lockers brushless system and 2wd and 4wd optins with portals for 460 bucks ?? Nope not at this price point as far as ive seen or heard its alot of bang for your buck brother i have the og version i absolutely love it and the k5 as well fms is really making grounds on the big scale as of late also their hard body versions are gorgeous 🤟
Great review. That company constantly amazes me with their new stuff. My biggest complaint are the turn signals people keep putting on their products....like how did that even start to be a thing?

You mention of the motor electronics being waterproof but what about the light system and its module that’s on the rear, is that system waterproof as well?
Here’s the deal, I love FMS. Truly I do but I’d rather buy the brushes version for $300 and stick a HW fusion for $70-$80 depending on kv desired but would be coming in far cheaper for only $370-$380 with a reputable 2in1 system we all know and love. I’m really surprised FMS has lost their minds when it comes to pricing out the now pro version. It must be the name pro in the title where all the value comes from then. I hate feeling that way but making sense out of this is just making sense out of it I guess. Still a great review though.
Okay, I didn’t realize it was an outrunner so I’ll give it that it will have a lot of torque and is pretty sweet I must say. Some folks reviews are just not quite as informative as as the CAPES
I want to start rc crawling but I don’t know what to get. My budget is $150. I am deciding between the Fcx18 and the Redcat Ascent 18. I want a 1/24 or 1/18 crawler. Do you have any other recommendations?
What part of mass I'm in Bristol county and we have 1 rc store my area is dead for anything rc related. I'd love for me and my son to find a good place to run our scx 24's and other rc's
Yeah, they can’t go with another blazer. They basically had one the last time it was like Chevy truck K5 blazer look they need to do something different.
its hard to digest this rig. is there a way of setting endpoints on all those servos? how about settings in the esc like drag brake? no dig yet lock/unlock diffs. and do they call it a rock crawlers or just a trail crawler? i'm confused by this thing. sounds like the fcx10 with a brushless with this body and the gear ratio is heinous... plus, still, why do you need 2 speed when brushless has really good fast and slow crawl inherently.

It seems to be priced right with what it comes with out the box.Cheaper than it main competitor the Trx4 with throw away electrics.
Cant wait till mine gets here. One recommendation is to cut the hitch of the rear bumper so it doesn't snag.

The C pillar is different than the 1/18th too.
