Fr. Mark, thank you for your homily that explains well the virtues of love, mercy, trust and hope. We all find love and mercy in Jesus’ heart. Can He find trust and hope in our hearts? We must truly exercise these precious virtues at every moment in our lives, as we choose to do God’s will to achieve our eternal life. Every good thing we do that pleases God is our beautiful gift to Him in response to His love and mercy. Our trust and hope must be childlike and humble, as a manifestation of our great helplessness and confidence, for we can’t do anything without Him.

It was a very uplifting homily today Fr Mark. Kudos to you for playing the comments of #45 from the other night. I have been closely watching his openness to all things Catholic including a brown scapular, the Ave Maria playing at his rally, happy birthday wish to the Virgin Mary and statue of St Michael he also posted an acknowledged of Saint Michael on social media on September 29. . When interviewed the other evening after the Al Smith dinner by EWTN he was asked why he is suddenly open to all things Catholic ? His reply was he was appreciating the Beauty of Catholicism. God can use anyone right? During the first term he did install three pro life Supreme Court justices. God saved him when he was shot on the 13th of July. That date was pointed out by one of your brothers when he spoke at my chURCH July 14. Father Chris reminded us that Saint John Paul II was also shot on the 13th of the month. God used him for so much good. I believe God intends to use number 45 for the betterment of humanity. God bless America.

We disagree with you, Father Mark. Trump is not a sincere man. Before he became president, we followed the debates, and we knew this man was not truthful. We stopped watching television news and online news all together because of this man. We strongly believe that people should make up their own minds for whom to vote . I'm a retired teacher, and I remember telling our students to follow the candidates to read and research for facts on each candidate before deciding. The church should not be involved. I can go and on about the things he has said done, but I won't. We lived four years with him as president and we know what he is capable of saying and doing. Let's do our own research and decide. The Bible teaches us God can use anyone even a “lying narcissist”. one cannot be a catholic and cast vote for the candidate who advocates for unfettered abortion at any time during pregnancy even to right before Delivery.
