I just grabbed both hardcover volumes of Gideon Falls and they arrived last week. I read the first issue in a sampler book a few months ago. Hoping to do a read through sometime this month.
I'm going through my annual October reread of the series right now and almost done. I've been so tempted with those hardcovers but so far I've been able to stay strong with my tpbs. If the price ends to dipping much further on IST though, not sure how much longer I can hold out ...
Nice, I'll have to hit up Lemire and Sorrentino for my royalty check. I didn't want to give any spoilers in this video specifically so that people can enjoy the twists and turns this one takes firsthand. Thanks for watching!
I’m with you, I prefer atmospheric horror over visual violence. I really liked Infidel by Pornsak Pichetshote. It’s been a while so it’s probably worth a re-read at this point.
I've had Infidel for about a year but haven't made my way to it yet. Definitely on the to-read pile for this month, even more excited to hear it's the kind of horror style I'm into
Spooky background music. I have not yet read Gideon Falls, but it’s on the list.
It's spooky month! Got to hit em with those spooky sounds!
