We live in a time of deconstruction. Guiding principles, morals, and beliefs of prior generations are being shaken and often times discarded. But are we, as a society, justified in tearing something down just because we don’t know why it is there? In the same way, how can we argue against the demolition of historic truths when we ourselves can’t see what they are built on?
