Flying high at Ourimbah MTB

Super fun day out at Ourimbah. Shuttle laps of Amaroo and Gravitron, beers, BBQ and a great chat. We get the blow by blow from the man himself on the Thredbo crash, and the recovery. Oh, and I almost die on Amaroo.
Huge thanks to JK for shuttling us up the mountain.

Amaroo is always really rough - I can't generate the speed to clear everything, it doesn't 'flow' ... (Maybe cause I'm on a 170/170 but need to work too hard)
Their DH tracks & XC are much better!

Plenty of flow on amaroo, im riding 180/175 the only stuff I dont try to clear are the gaps leading up to the hill near the rock feature, everything else is sweet. Big travel = more work required

Yeah totally agree regarding the Big difference between suspension travel, and speed you can generate on Amaroo. The bigger the travel, the more you need to work.
Still one of my favourite trails xx
