The Howling Cover

Another attempt at covering one of Rich Mullin's songs - a lesser known tune and a personal favorite. I hope you enjoy this one. As with any of his songs, I could never replicate what he brought to us, but singing and playing his tunes ignites a long-lost hope in me.
Had some fun with the video side of this one. Needed a second guitar player to help fill out the second acoustic part and sing such a lyric-heavy tune. But I promise, there's only one me in this world... thank God! :-)

Thank you!! I had the opportunity to meet Rich when I was working stage crew at the Ichthus music festival (way back in the mid-90's) in Kentucky. He was the humblest guy I've ever met. Just the fact that he was the only musician to hang out with the crew spoke volumes to me. The way he interacted with anyone off stage was the same as he was on stage - genuine to the core. And his music echoes that authenticity. It's truly a blessing to try and sing his songs.
