I smudged my patent leather chanel woc with nailpolish, and even though it had dried by the time I noticed it I was able to remove the stain completely with baby wipes! I just rubbed and rubbed and rubbed it very gently until it was completely gone!

Good reminder about pens - I had a pen leak all over the inside of one of my bags once, and it was terrible! Ink not only stained the lining, but ruined several things including a card case. I am on the look out for a pen case, but until I find one, I do not carry pens anymore.

I have a BRAND new Chanel Lambskin Boy in a light warm peachy beige lambskin leather. I am worried about color transfer, stains and accidental contact to water or liquids. Have you tried or would you recommend using the Apple Garde Stain and Water Repellent spray? It works wonders on LV Vachetta leather (I've tried it) but for Chanel Lambskin I'm not sure.

I just do two things: make sure my feet are clean before I put shoes on (sounds odd but it's surprising what you can pick up from just around the house!) and then do a quick wipe down after wearing!

Maybe this is a stupid question but why do you pay soo much for a designer bag that gets ruined so quickly. I am a fan of luxury bags and am seriously thinking of getting one. But my 50 dollar Calvin Klein (white with tan detail, on sale) totes bag that I use for school, leave on the dirty floor, at not gentle with hasn’t gotten ruined in the 3 years of bag to bag use.

Some brands are better than others and just like everything else price doesn’t always equal better. Do your research on what suits you, the quality of the materials and price. I also consider the country of manufacturing and prefer not to purchase bags/items made in certain countries due to a variety of factors.

Yup, been there, done that! I just always pop my pens in a pouch or pocket now. At least it's only something you do once haha!
