Under most circumstances, I hate it when a commentator pauses the show to explain their interpretation or blather on, but not this guy. He pauses very little, explains some of the nuances of the world, then carries on! I wish others followed this guy’s format. I’m subbing.

But you also have to say that Cain has an ego-oriented view, and he is mostly on the sidelines in the big battles, and with the ghosts, the other regiments usually die in droves, with a few exceptions. But I also have to say that although I enjoy reading Abnett's books, I am very conflicted about his... over-creativity (good examples are Enucia and the cognitae) Still, it's a shame that in so many novels Ogryns or Rattlings are almost non-exitants

Honestly I have grown to love Cadians because of stuff like this. The amount of sheer determination and in a way spite they have is admirable. Also, I love how the messenger goes from being scared sh*tless to being very confident by the end of this. He has witnessed Cadians in action and became just as determined as the rest to keep fighting on til his last breath.
The guard of the impediment of a single straw could be the one to break the candles back. If they all do their job if they all put in their work they could be the straw that breaks the camels back and brings them victory. Even though they're winning doesn't mean they're enjoying it.
Games Workshop needs to leave you alone brother. They have no clue how much free promo they're getting. And you're the only Warhammer content creator I watch. Leave the good ones alone. You're a true gentlemen for taking it in stride. Peace love and respect.

I am still new to warhammer but I love learning about it and I am already invested in warhammer I can't even decide which factions I want to be there are so many and there are all awesome but I would like to be a Dreadnought

I cant believe 2 years ago I didnt know what Warhammer 40k was all about. I only knew through people talking about it when reading about science fiction horror movies like Event Horizon and other movies. Im 43 years old and i never thought id be so intrigued by WH40k. Wow! They need to make a motion picture. It would be bigger than the MCU and Legendary monsterverse.
Space marines are genetically engineered super beings that have been created to have no fear. Guardsmen are regular humans that are scared to death but still hold the line. Courage isn’t the absence of fear, courage is being filled with fear but still pushing forward. You main Space marines, I main the guard…We are not the same.

My space marine chapter is the Cadian Marines, A.K.A, Imperial Regulants. Their goal is to unify all the regiments of the imperial guard and all the space marine chapters under one uniform. There they will take the fight to the xenos, every last one of them. And they all come from New Cadia.

Wouldn't you want to pick someone fit/fast/brave and resourceful to be your message runners? I mean if someone is of questionable valour wouldn't want to keep them close to their squadmates and sargeant to keep an eye on them, not off running on their own? Also do tyranids have vox jamming tech? I would think they would be among the few enemies that would not have that, yes they nullify Astropathic Communication but not vox/radio and other forms.
@@Counterpoints Ok, from the 40k books I have read, the officers and NCOs do put some thought into who they pick for what role but they do get foisted with New Recruits into a role, which probably happened here. But in general movies and series it seems they always pick the scared, weakest guy to be the message runner, in my real life experience though I never pick the least experienced and least trustworthy to go off on their own, those I always keep close to the group or with an experienced person.
Tyranida can fly? Non warhammer fan here, i always pictured them as ground units and the ones that are giant and fly across space. This is so much more terrifying than anything i understood from the videos and wiki
when I play astra militarum in gladius of war I notice that guardsmen can only survive if they are a lot, with grenade (Krak/frag), with healing upgrade and Commissar with accuracy upgrade. if they don't have one of it then it just a waste.
I still think they hired Rick from Pawn Stars, just to say: "Best I can do for the animation budget is is $50." Then told the animators to work with it.

Once again the Imperium shows itself as having no idea how to construct defensive positions. They have a firepower based force hunkered down in the bottom of trenches allowing a close combat melee force to approach their trenches and come from above on undefended parapets. Imperium should have elevated firing positions with overlapping fields of fire and they should be mutually supported and connected by trenches with overhead cover. The positions should also have ditches and minefields preventing enemies from simply walking up to the edge of the position.
She only survived because she got more frames than the other guardsmen. Also cadia is still standing, broken but theres still fighting going on the planet

this episode was the reason i wanted to start a guard army. Watching them stand up to the horrors of the Bugs inspired me to no end
