I learned to play the bagpipes as a teenager in the Boys Brigade. I was OK with the practice chanter, but I just couldn't keep the bag filled when playing the pipes. I gave up. I wonder now if the pipes I was given to play were just too hard for a beginner. I had the manual dexterity, but I just couldn't supply the puff and my lungs were definitely strong enough at that age. Now I think they might have had a leaky bag and I had to work so hard to keep the drones sounding, that I couldn't focus on the chanter, which is after all the critical part. I wish I'd tried another set before chucking it in as a bad job.

On the 2K set, why is it that the high B still sounds so flat relative the drones?
